Suggestion: "UI Read Only" checkbox for sensor style on/off open/closed switches

Use this forum to discuss possible implementation of a new feature before opening a ticket.
A developer shall edit the topic title with "[xxx]" where xxx is the id of the accompanying tracker id.

I miss a "UI Read Only" checkbox for sensor style on/off open/closed switches, like a door contact.
I do want do be able to set it with non-UI actions of course, like for a virtual switch.

It makes no sense to me to be able to click on it to change the state, and the protected popup is annoying in such a case.
