Linux beta-development lags other platforms

Post by philchillbill »

I had to revert to the latest stable version due to issues with the beta some 2 weeks ago. I noticed there's still no new beta for Linux whereas all the other platforms have moved along - they are all at version 8389 whereas Linux is still at 8356 from 2 weeks ago. Is this deliberate or is something broken in the build-script and nobody noticed because Linux is not a popular platform?

If you compile from source (like me), you can go to the latest beta

Thanks for the tip. I know I can do that but I was just wondering if there is a specific reason the Linux build in the downloads section is lagging the other builds?
