Re: Domoticz App
For what it's worth, I'm not seeing any errors with the logs, variables or events. Pressing the Buttons displays the relevant info just fine on my iPhone. I'll try it on the iPad when I get a chance.
I firmly believe in having an open mind - although not so open that your brain falls out!

Re: Domoticz App
I have a beta version on my iPad (think 0.030?) and there logs, user variables, events and rooms are working fine (except the barometer).
So it's strange it doesn't work on my iPhone with 1.01 and the same Domoticz environment.

Re: Domoticz App
Bought the full version (mainly to support the development, no real need for the add ons); looks ok, maybe a bit slower than Pilot. Some remarks:
- Adding the possibility to bring user variables to the Dashboard would be great; my car heating is controlled by a script, in which the required time is set as a user variable. Currently it's too may clicks away
- Location of + and - buttons of thermostat is a bit irrational, should be other way around:

Re: Domoticz App
maybe the numbering looks a bit weird.. but 0.0.33 is a buildnumber, and 1.01 is a releasenumber in Apple..
At this moment 0.0.33 beta is a new beta after the 1.0.1 release
Need to see how we can make that more clear..

Re: Domoticz App
Just installed 0.0.33 on my iPhone. But I still have the same errors (also after deleting and re-installing the app), see below.galadril wrote:The latest beta is 0.0.33 as of yesterday. do you have that one?
On the iPad with an older beta version (0.030?) everything (except barometer) works fine.

Re: Domoticz App
I do know that there was an issue with a crash on wrong connection settings...
so maybe that is the issue. I just fixed that in the upcoming beta (0.0.34)

Domoticz App
The app logo is looking a bit strange in v0.033.
Edit: will try v0.034 to see if that solves the issues with the connection.

Okay, but I meant the black border. It seems the logo hasn't the right size and therefore the black border is shown.

Re: Domoticz App
Hi,
Tnx for the app i'm very happy you lauched this.
I have only a small problem, i think
When i setup the connection i get the message unautorized.
On my domoticz i installed the latest stable version Domoticz V3.8153
I used the login data from the setup->settings->system tab->Website Protection (pulldown menu says login page)
That doesnt work.
Also made a new user account on the setup->more options->edit users
also that doesnt work.
I'm sure i used the right username and password.
Anyone other tips?
EDIT: Solved by setting the pulldownmenu to login basic Auth

Re: Domoticz App
Don't think so, user variables have to be set through Setup > More options > User variables. Please keep this in mind as well, a shortcut for these would be great.

Re: Domoticz App
Sorry if part of my remarks are already said in this thread, I haven't red all 278 posts. I installed the latest version from the app store and I wanted to give you a heads up, you did a wonderful job, thanks!
I used it for now only in my local network and with username/password validation. This is what I found out while using the app for an hour or so:

I used it for now only in my local network and with username/password validation. This is what I found out while using the app for an hour or so:
- App crashes in the setup when setting no or wrong port. After filling with the correct info and using http instead of https with untrusted certificate (uuuh...) it works fine. An helpfull error message is appreciated.
- Temperature decimals is presented with decimal point and at other places (dauwpunt) with comma seperator. One used format is preferred, in my case a comma seperator would be great.
One can discuss the chosen number of decimals. Only very expensive and precise calibrated thermometers are worth showing 2 or maybe 1 decimal.
- Humidity is only shown with a name e.g. "wet" and not the percentage.
- Last seen times in days and hours, hours and minutes, seconds and milliseconds ago. Can I choose for showing me "Last seen time and date" instead? (wishlist)
- Gas meter shows only total for today, not grand total on meter (the raw value is recieved from P1 Smart meter USB). Electricity does show actual, today an total use. The Android app doesn't do this too but this is on my wishlist.
- The Dashboard seems not to be sorted like the webpage, where you can order the icons like you wish. Is this possible?
