ESPEasy and IR remote

Post by olleman »

Hello,

I'm trying to use ESPEasy with a Wemos mini d1 to Power up/down my Optoma HD65 projector.

I got this information from avsforum.com and this code works fine using "Unified remote control" for Android together with my Samsung S6.
Power NEC2 Device Code: 79.80 (0x4F.0x50) Function: 2 (0x02)
0000 006D 0000 0022 0157 00AC 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0689
Using the IRTX plugin in Easpeasy I need a code that looks something like this:
I know I could use an IR receiver but I don't have one at the moment and it seems to me I have all the necessary information above but how go I go from the long "Pronto" code to the much shorter HEX in the http link?

Hi, I have the ESP working as ir Remote to control an air conditioning. But I don't understand very well you question.
You can decode all the signals from original remote using a TSOP ir receiver with ESP and ESPEasy. Visit the espeasy web there are info. If you have open the arduino program with the serial window you can see the code of each button.

Thanks for your answer.

The problem is that I don't have an IR receiver at this moment and can't capture the code. However, I have the "pronto HEX" code and I should be able to convert it somehow but I don't know how...?

Olleman I don't know what is pronto HEX. But if you can extract the Hex code for each button you can use. In other case you can buy the cheaper components to ir receiver, only need one, TSOP.
