Extend range of Qubino ZMNHOD1 Flush Shutter DC+

Hello,

I have a Qubino ZMNHOD1 Flush Shutter DC+ in my bedroom controlling a blinder.
If I have my door closed Domoticz fails to communicate with it at it's current location.

I'm thinking extending the antenna with a piece of cable, any suggestions on that ?

May I suggest a repeater instead? Another way you could try is place an metal reflector beside your RasPi (can use a cut open aluminum can).

Hi Varazir,

As suggested by TDK20, I would suggest using an extra node to extend the range.

I would suggest installing a Fibaro Wall plug which you could also use to turn on/off any wall plug devices.

I have this device installed myself and it increases the z-wave mesh coverage significantly.
