The new dashboard is ok.
Sub menus not so okay (even after shift f5).
new_frontpage.JPG
Switches, not okay.
Scenes look okay.
Temperature looks okay
weather looks okay
Utility not so okay.
Setup looks okay.

Had to return back to stock, as lay-out was not really okay.

Currently running latest stabl eDomoticz release.

Google might say... Refreshing Cache... it doesn't mean it really does....
Installed the chrome extension to force delete the cache and voila...

Much Better.

I have add the new theme ,and now I want to change the background.
I place I new folder with a background image in de theme directory.
Than I have change this below

Code: Select all

 body {
    background: transparent url(/home/pi/domoticz/www/styles/feynman/images/imgbg.jpg) center center fixed;
    background-size: cover;
}
What I'm doing wrong , the background is white?

@rhendriks: that path is a local path. You have to use the public path to the image. Try "/styles/feynman/images/imgbg.jpg". Or just make the path relative to the CSS file.

SNEAK PREVIEW - New default theme

Post by joeygermeraad »

Hi all just to confirm on my own question ;)
The merge feature does work On the latest stable version of Domoticz.
Although if i look at the JS code i see that it only works of sensors within the utilities type. So a combination of a sensor with lux and motion is not an possibility at the moment. @blauwebuis is this done for a specific reason?

I deleted the folder www and replaced it with the github version.
Running latest beta.
Tried Edge that I NEVER use and Chrome inkognito with cache cleared in all ways. ;)

What about every name in uppercase? Could I change that?

Here the same problem. Cache is cleared. Some an idea what the problem can be.
I've noticed all my theme's are broken

Yesterday i've updated Domoticz on my RASpi trough.

Code: Select all

cd domoticz
./updaterelease
After that i had some issues with the PID file, en my startup script (But seems no cause to the broken theme's i think, right?)

Do you use the default theme? If yes than clearing the cache should solve the problem. I had the same issue but after switching to the default theme and clearing the cache it was solved.

I'm at version 3.8337 and it shows normal.
The picture of benotje shows clearly still some elements of the elementry theme. So for some reason the cache isn't completely cleared.

I have after again tried to clear the Cache. Again i get no background.
everything is now Grey/black.

I don't understand, all data seems to be in place.

Only my elemental Style is working. I also can from this style with the update, same as "Schuko80"

Edit:
Just tried the system in Internet Explorer and here the themes Change! But the default is still the "old" default theme.
So it seems to be a problem with Chrome. Schuko80 what browser do you use?

But also now some theme's are working. some seems not to work at all.

I am out of options, some here know's whats going on?
The default theme must be as seen in the first couple posts right?

Oke, Last Edit:

My default theme map is somehpow very empty as i compair this with the github.

https://github.com/domoticz/domoticz/tr ... es/default

and my map on the PI:
Image

So what can i best do to update?? the whole WWW map from the Github??

Found someting else. The stable TGZ files on the download page do NOT Contain the update for the Default Theme! is this correct???
