Is it right that it doesn't show a login screen when opening Dashticz?
That means that it is open to everyone and I don't want that.
How can I add this?

Maybe you can create a link from a password protected page to the Dashticz page.

Yes, is ofcourse possible but this still means that the page is accessible without a password if you go directly to it!

So, I have 3 dimmers setup in dashticz that I would like to operate as a normal switch.

I can easily remove the slider in custom/custom.css:

The problem is, however, if I change the width to the default 4 for simple switches, the icon-data ratio is still set to the standard 2-10 that is used for dimmers. The width of 2 for the icon is too small for a decent icon size, resulting in the text being wrapped underneath the icon.

For now, I circumvented this by creating a group with just one lamp set to a specific brightness. This works, but obviously doesn't show the brightness setting, which I do like (so I can see if it has been tempered with using the physical switch )

Any suggestions?

I have a question about scenes/groups in my dashboard. I have made some scenes/groups that set multiple lamps to different levels or just switch them on/off. The scenes/groups are implemented in my dashboard as a switch (on/off different colors). The problem is now that all the scenes/groups are switched on (status on in the dashboard) when I turn on a lamp with the switch of the lamp, even when the lamp isn't represented as 'on' in the scene/group. Is it possible that the switches of the scenes/groups are only on when I switch them on?

Hi ztorm. I think this may not be so much be a dashticz thing, but a general domoticz issue, as dashticz is simply showing the status that domoticz passes on. What does it look like in Domoticz?

What you could try is changing scenes to groups, and play around a bit with that (groups can be turned off, scenes cannot...)

Hello,

I've installed Dashticz and it is running, only the configuration with config.js is not working.
Changing the settings in Dashticz configuration screen is working per station. When i make the changes config.js it makes no difference.

I had this too, you should remove the /* at the top and the */ at the bottom of the file, otherwise the whole settings are "commented out"

This worked, but now i don't see my sensors any more...

I've done this.
The strange thing is that every change in config.js is visable, but the domoticz buttons are not displayed any more.

When is put back */ in the script and run with the popup settings, i can see the domoticz buttons.

You don't have any buttons/devices defined in your columns, although you did specify to use Domoticz favorites. Are you using Favorites in Domoticz?

Can you try to add a switch replaceing this part <switchIDX> ?
