KAKU AWMT-003 Burst Delay

Post by rab »

Hello

I have several KAKU AWMT-003 transmitters which are behind old lightswitches. When I use those switches the transmitter sends its signal and everything works quite well. BUT: I have the same 3 seconds burst problem we all know from the KAKU PIR. So I have always to wait for 3 to 5 seconds until the light goes on. That feels a little uncomfortable...

Is there any similar device as the AWMT-003, which works with the RFXTRX433 USB/Domoticz but without those longtime bursts?

Or is there another possibility to change/correct that burst-thing?

Thank you for your suggestions!

Thank you for the answer.

Because of the design of my already installed standard-light-switches, for me it's not possible to use one of those AWST-8800.
That's why I was lucky to get those AWMT-003, which can be used behind "normal" light-switches. Even without any current nearby.
If only there wouldn't be that delay-thing.

These days I'm gonna test some EnOcean parts. Maybe this works.

Again, thanks for your input.
