Cannot seem to get this working so I am obviously doing something wrong.
Its the first time that I have tried port forwarding.
This is my setup
Port Checker tells me that 8080 is open
In my browser I type "http://46.91.110.84:8080/" and it times out.
What have I missed?
Port Forwarding

Re: Port Forwarding
if you do ( in your home network )
http://domoticzLOCALIPadres_192.168.x.x:6144
does it work then ?
Why don you change from 8080 to 6144 ?
either create 6144-6144 6144-6144
or
8080-8080 8080-8080

Re: Port Forwarding
Shouldn't you been masking your external IP address? Which port are you using on your Domoticz server?

Re: Port Forwarding
Thanks for you help. After updating it to your suggestion I still couldn;t get through.
Two other things had to happen.
1. the Speedport W 724V requires a reboot after port forwarding which is pretty stupid as there is nothing in the manual or the the forwarding page to say so
2. Deutsche Telekom does not allow you to loop back into your own network. You have to have an external access like your phone on another network.
But all is working now

Re: Port Forwarding
In principle yes, but after a reboot the ip address being dynamic changes. It is now totally different on the last two segments.Eddiever wrote:Shouldn't you been masking your external IP address? Which port are you using on your Domoticz server?
