Recommend UK remote sockets?

Post by Scoobydoo »

Can anyone recommend any UK remote sockets that will work with domoticz and rfxcomm.

I was using some lightwaverf remote On/Off Socket Kit - White - JSJSLW381 sockets but for some reason they dont last long and have stopped working after 12months.

Has anyone had any success with any cheap remote sockets in the UK?
I need either 3 or 5 of them.

Thanks.

I also use light wave rf, it I think the other other model to you LW321. They are a bit more expensive than the basic on/of ones - build quality feels really nice, and I haven't had any problems with them in 2+ years.

I also have a few of the basic on off ones which I have had for about a year with no problems yet.

I have been thinking about switching to z wave in the longer term though as it would be nice to have "confirmation" that something is switched - but no budget for it at the moment.

It would be really nice if Phillips came out with a hue compatible socket.
running domoticz 3.4834 on rpi2, with
Hue bridge / bulbs.
lightwave rf sockets, mood controlers, sensors & contacts.
Home bridge / Siri.
Ha bridge / echo Alexa.
Hard wired alarm system - setting home / away status.

Next: harmony hub.

I have been using Energenie sockets for the last 10 months or so, works fine with RFLink and Domoticz - can't say for long term but the build quality seems decent.

These are the ones i have; https://www.amazon.co.uk/Energenie-MIHO ... =energenie
