Forgive me if I don't use the correct terms.
I like using scenes and groups to coordinate actions in response to stimuli of various sorts. However, it surprises me that I can only add binary switches to scenes and groups.
It would seem natural to be able to add thermostats, dimmer switches etc. to a scene (e.g. "Cinema mode that closes the curtains, dims (but doesn't switch off) the lights etc).

Re: Adding dimmers to scenes
Hi.
First off, make sure you are using a scene and not a group. You add both from the same menu, but when you are editing it there is a drop down selection to choose between scene or group.
When scene is selected, when you add a light that is a simmer, you would select "on" and can also set the level " 0 to 100" and also set the colour of applicable.
If you already have the light added, select it, change the settings, then click update.
Hope that helps.

Re: Adding dimmers to scenes
Hi
No problem there, I'm definitely using a scene.
I've just rechecked, and the only devices that appear in the drop-down list for the "Devices" section are binary on-off switches. None of the dimmer switches or thermostat set points appear in the list.
Are you saying that they appear in the list when you add a scene?

Dimmers are in their for sure. You can add them and choose the desired %.
Setpoints aren't available in scenes.

Re: Adding dimmers to scenes
I've got a similar problem: after creating a group I do see my dimmers. But, I can't change the level of any dimmer. The level-field is present, but there are no values to select.
I'm using the RFLink in combination with KAKU / COCO-devices. 2 Different type of dimmers, none of them show a dim-level.
I prefer using a "Group" insteas of a "Scene" because a Group can switch on or off the devices in it.

I have suddenly the same problem, but I am using an aeon stick with z-wave.Asterixenobelix wrote:I've got a similar problem: after creating a group I do see my dimmers. But, I can't change the level of any dimmer. The level-field is present, but there are no values to select.
I am very noob with domoiticz; my setup is just a few months old. When I first installed domoticz dimmer levels were avialable, but now they are blank. They only big changes since I started and now is the update to the new version this week and I started scripting with blocky.
@Asterixenobelix: did you solve the problem?
Edit: after futher searching I found this: http://domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... el#p144134 I'll try this when I get home. (i'll report back)

Re: Adding dimmers to scenes
chrome://appcache-internals/ followed by a page reload (F5) fixes the problem in Chrome.
