Gas meter readings changed

Post by PimG »

I have a dutch smart meter (slimme meter) connected to a raspberry pi with domoticz to read out power and gas usage. Untill yesterday the graph showed usage till some hour, e.g. usage of gas between 9 and 10 is displayed in as m3 at 10.

Somehow, this has changed today. My gas usage from 9 till 10 is showed in the bar of 9 'o clock. Does anyone know what happend?

The smart meter gives a reading every hour, e.g. 9:00:00, 10:00:00

I saw the reading changed just seconds before the new hour. Can I maybe adjust the script so it gets the readings a few minutes after the new hour?

Did you do anything, and if so: what? (e.g. update Domoticz from [oldversion] to [newversion]?)
A update, but that was 2 days ago. Yesterday the graph was correct (eg. usage between 8 and 9 displayed under 9) but now it get's an update seconds before the new hour. Which gives an incorrect graph.

It seems my smart meter's clock is out of sync. Can I somehow adjust the script so it gets the value about 5 minutes after each hour?

I suppose it is possible that its clock could be slightly off, in which case it will depend on the exact times that the smart meter sends its datagrams whether or not the early data will be picked up by connected logic. Since we're not expecting the gas meter to correspond data every few seconds I think it is possible to adjust for such clock skew by synchronizing against the full hour. I'll have a look at it.
Yes, and via the smart meter to the raspberry pi. It works well, except for this. It gives data ever 10 seconds, and every 10 second the latest power consumption and ever hour the latest gas consumption.

If you could, I will be very happy.
