The domofence app was running fine, till I updated my galaxy S7 to the new nougat OS.
Now domofence doesnt send / trigger the off signal to the IDX in domoticz.
The application itself tells me nicely : entered or exited the zones but nothing happen in the domoticz dashboard.
When I test the app it nicely set the switch to : on .
But after this ... Nothing

Anybody who can help me with this ?

I haven't heard that Android 7 breaks anything, but I'll look in to this.

Yesterday I created a new version with the latest geofence-ing library from Google, you can test it here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/co ... .domofence

Please, let me know if it helps! You might need to remove and re-add your geofence.

Weird, if it really never sends any signals then something else might be the problem. Could you try to reinstall the app?

And the 'test button' does work right?

OK I think I know what the issue is. Android 7.0 doesn't let apps listen to network changes. DomoFence did this to send cached geofence transitions.
So when you crossed a geofence but didn't have a dataconnection available, DomoFence cached the transition and would send it when you did have a data connection available.

I just released a beta in which I build the app for Android 6.0 so it should work on 7.0 with the old functionality.

Could you please try the beta (2.7.2) and see if this works? If it does, I will implement a good solution, but that will take a lot more work.

Can't you just use your external ip from within your internal network?

Hi Guys
I am trying to use domofence, but I get an error when using the test button...
The iPhone and port are OK.
But it seems it cannot connect to my server.
Have you an idea?

Does it work when you are on the local network (and use you internal server ip)?

What happens if you use that url in your browser?

Check if you have 'Basic auth':

Okay back again : domofence was working for a fews days (i think) but at the moment when we entered the zone , it doesn't send the "on" signal.
When we manually press the "test connection" it is working fine ;(
