raspberry firmware version (kernel) and strange problem

I'm using domitic on raspberry PI2 with latest version of raspian and i have a very strange and randomically problem

sometime the controller don't work and in the log a see message of "dead node", i have searched online ad i have found other people with the same problem, and the trick is to change the firmware versione of rpi, now i'm using 4.1.17 (originally was 4.4) and "dead node" seams to be solved, but now randomically i have this message "OpenZWave: Received timeout notification from HomeID" and the light don't switch

i'm using fibaro fgs-222 and Aeotec ZW090 Z-Stick Gen5

can you help me? which is the more stable firmware versione for rpi2 and my hardware?

I had similar issues too.
I setup a RPI3 with gen5 stick (new system) and had the same instability issues and commands being sent but not chaging the devices.

I manged to mess that setup up, but moved my new Domoticz folder over to my old rpi2 system.

That used to have a razberry on it running fine, but in copying over the Domoticz from new to old setup, seems to have carried over the same issue, node's not responding to changes.

Puzzled by all this.
HOw did you move back to 4.1.17 - i tried something but that's how i manged to mess up my new rpi3 setup.

To this day, i cannot conenct to it, even with a formatted SD and new Raspbian.
