1Wire pressure devices

Post by Tuomaz »

Hi
I own a this and added support for it here. It's main purpose is to measure the barometric pressure, my patch in PR #388 made report "pure" pressure in Domoticz and not barometric pressure.

I have a patch ready to make it report barometric pressure but as for now the patch make all 1Wire pressure devices report barometric pressure. This is probably not a good idea so I need to the enhance it. But maybe there is a way to make a pressure device a barometric device with help of some virtual devices or similar in Domoticz? If it is possible should it be the way to use it or should I enhance my patch and make it report barometric pressure for real?

According to Maxim:
The 8-bit family code, a subset of the 64-bit ID, identifies the device type and functionality.
This means you could check the device type and after that make a selection in what to show (or not).
