Hi all,
First of all; my configuration:
Domoticz installed on a Raspberry Pi.
Aeon Z-stick Gen5 USB Z-wave Plus
Fibaro Relay Switch FGS 212 on each radiator
On initial situation, all working well, my home temperature is managed by Domoticz.
Last week end, a lot of power failure has broken the system.
The raspberry is in PoE and the switch on UPS, so no problem for this one.
But one of my 5 fibaro no longer respond to commands...
I check it, it looks ok, and I can toggle it by pressing the little B button on it.
But no way to include it again with my Z-stick.
So after many tries and many hours, I tryed to reset all system. Z-stick and Fibaro.
I made a factry reset on my Z-stick by long pressing le little button in back of it.
Now, not only I can't add my relay, but I can't add anyone else !!
All my 5 relay are disconected.
I press the big button on my z-stick, it blinks in blue.
Then I press 3 times the B button on relay / or 3 times a button on S1. No reaction from z-stick...
I don't know what I can do to determine where is the issue...
Any help will be appreciate
Regards
Z-Stick not working after factory reset.

Re: Z-Stick not working after factory reset.
Same problem as here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=15965 I would guess. So the first thing I'd do is to reset the relays as they probably think they are still connected to the controller (which is now reset and not aware of any of your relays anymore). Then try to add them again...

Re: Z-Stick not working after factory reset.
Thank you !
Despite all my research, I did'nt see this topic !
Do I understood correctly: A relay cannot be include to a new z-wave network if it still include to a first one ?
(It is not the case with my rfxcom sensors/switchs)
I already tried to reconfigure my relay. So I think I do mistake.
I tried exlude it:
Press 3sec on z-stick for exclusion mode (orange blinking). Then press 3 times B button on relay.
The associate it again: Press button on z-stick for inclusion mode (blue blinking). Then press 3 times B button on relay. Nothing appends
I tried to reset it:
Hold B button during 3sec on relay.
There is not any confirmation from relay about include/exclude/reset. I'm unable to say if my handling are working.
I think I have not the correct method

Yes I think it is so. With RFXCOM (and 433Mhz in general) this is not an issue as there is only one way communication...Do I understood correctly: A relay cannot be include to a new z-wave network if it still include to a first one ?

Have you checked the manual? I think you have the correct reset method as per: http://manuals.fibaro.com/content/manua ... -v1.01.pdf
Method I won't be possible anymore, but Method II should work. Maybe it is that you need to press it right after connecting the mains voltage? After succesfull reset, I'd assume you are able to include again2. Resetting Fibaro Switch
Fibaro Switch provides two methods for resetting.
Method I : Reset by removing Fibaro Switch from the existing
Z-Wave network. The device may be removed using the controller
that has the ability to include/exclude devices from/to Z-Wave
network (see the manual of controller).
Method II : Reset by holding B button for 3 sec. after connecting
mains voltage to the Switch

Re: Z-Stick not working after factory reset.
You should always try to exclude your nodes before you factory reset the controller. Any Z-wave device still included will stop working because it thinks it is still included. That's for security reasons so nobody can include your already included devices.
The only possible solution would be to reset your Fibaro relays. It's not an easy job, I can tell you that. You have to disconnect the main power, then press the B button and reconnect the main power while you keep pressing the B button (dangerous job when working with 220 volts). After about 3 seconds you should hear the relay click which indicates the reset. Release the B button and disconnect the power again. Then reconnect the power and the device should be fully reset.

Re: Z-Stick not working after factory reset.
Oh yeah !
It works ! Thanks all for your help !
In conclusion:
The issue not came from my z-stick but from ALL my relays ^^
They was still connected to old network.
I read the manual, but misunderstood the trick about main power !
I was thinking I had to do handling with power on...
As you explain, the correct manipulation for reset FGS 212 is:
1- Turn off main power
2 - Hold B buton
3 - Turn on the main power
4 - Relay respond with a little sound (come from electrical relay)
Then it is correctly unset.
Strangely, it seem I need to switch off/on the main power one more time or the relay stay in "off" position.
5 - Turn off main power
6 - Set the stick in inclusion mode
7 - Turn on main power
It is include again in the new network
Hope this can help anyone else !
Thanks again ! It's solved !
PS: The radiator who had an issue at the beginning is solved too
