Sub/Slave settings, what is it for?

Post by dannybloe »

Howdee folks,

I was wondering what the Sub/Slave device settings are for. I tried to find some docs about it but forum search didn't help all that much.
So could someone elaborate a bit about this?

Thanks a million,
Danny

I was looking for a way to have one zwave smoke sensor trigger the other smoke sensors around the house as soon as it detects smoke. It seems that group association doesn't work as advertised (guess I'm doing it wrong somehow) so then I stumbled upon this sub/slave setting. Thought maybe that could solve that problem (guess not).
