Adding hardware (Honeywell RTH9580)

Hey guys,

I just got the Honeywell RTH9580 wifi thermostat and im looking to get it added in to Domoticz. I've seen some folks who have done stuff with scripts to do this but there is also adding code to the primary code base. Also I kind of get the impression that the API they use kind of generic (https://community.smartthings.com/t/hon ... ostat/2700 mentions that some of those scripts work on multiple thermostats, which could mean they coded it that way, or its somewhat generic)

at any rate, I could probably tackle any method so i just wanted to reach out to you guys for suggests on what approach there are and what you guys recommend for this.
