telegram-cli & receive.lua

Post by emme »

Ciao,

I'm in the process of implementing some commands using Telegram-cli interface...

All in installed and running, but I'm in trouble trying to send commands to Domoticz...
in the wiki page http://domoticz.com/wiki/Telegram_-_Set ... oundations
I understand I'm suppose to download also a file called receive.lua... well I se no trace of such file... not in the jq folder, nor in tg, nor in tgl and, of couse, in domoticz/script/lua

Am I doing something wrong with it?

thanks
ciao

You would be better off using the telegram-bot version not the cli version, if you can not find recieve.lua then it would appear that either you haven't downloaded the git package in the installing section, or one of the git package has changed.

Have a look at http://domoticz.com/wiki/Telegram_Bot this is a more robust method of integrating with Telegram, as it is supported by Telegram, rather than being a workaround, as the cli method is.
