Installing Aeon zwave stick.

Hi!

i just got me an Aeon Zwave gen5, but im really lost here, first thing i did was to put it in one of the usb:s on the rpi3, and then i think that i managed to ad it in domoticz, i choose openzvave in the hardware and port /dev/ttyACM0, this port was shown after i put in the zwave stick in the rasp.

And now i have added the hardware, and i can see this version 1.4-2363-g1f10253-dirty, is this correct?

if i look at the usb device i can see that it flashes red, yellow and blue all the time, something tells me that it isnt supposed to do that?

So what is the next move to do?

How do i add a switch?


i also use a rfxtrxe if that is important.

i have searched some more and what it seems i cant get the zwave switches visible in domoticz, i need to set up scedules and timers and all settings in the node settings?

hope this is not true...

i nned to be albe to interact with the 433mhz switches.

The flashing is not a problem. There is a way to disable it, mine flashes also.

You have to include the zwave devices with the include button/instructions in the devices manual.

Not sure what you mean with setup schedules etc.

Depending on the switch it normally should yes.

What brand and model are you trying to add?? I used the domoticz wiki to find out how to add hardware and searched the forum. Indeed I was confused as well with all the flashing on the stick but it all works just fine. I added devices via the stick and via the domoticz interface. Both work
