Compact 868 MHZ transceivers (PTR8000, NRF905)

Hi everyone,

i'm using Domoticz since a while, through the NRF24 modules, connected directly to my Raspbery Pi, and MySensors.
I'm planning now to integrate several other temperature sensor TFA using the 868MHz bands.

In the forum i found people which suggest to buy the RFLink or the RFXCom module, which are quite bulky.
I bought the PTR8000 module, which employs he nRF905 transceiver, covering both 433MHz, and 868MHz bands.

Anyone had to deal with this module and the Raspberry Pi?
Otherwise, do you have other suggestions?

Which i consider cheaper, and smaller.
