Re: Domoticz app 2.0
Hi
Loving the app, thanks for all the hard work.
I would like to trigger a 'going to sleep' event when I charge my phone. Could you make this possible inside the Domoticz app?

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
I am a new user to Domoticz and the Domoticz Lite app. I am willing to go for the pro version, but I am struggling with 2 things.
1) How do I get notifications to work? Within the app I enabled them, I also clicked "Goole Cloud Messaging-ID", but then nothing happens. I don't receive any notifications when I try to send them from Domoticz. I didn't enable anything within Domoticz, because I don't know which one I should enable? I am probably missing something, please tell me what to do within Domoticz.
2) Temperature graphs; there is one thing I don't understand; why is the time scale so 'weird'? I mean with time values like 04:04, 06:54, 09:40, .... Why not something like 04:00, 07:00, 10:00,.... ? Secondly, I would like to tap on a point on the graph, to know the exact value on that time, can this feature be added?
Thanks!

That should be enough.. you don't need to enable anything on domoticz, just configure some notifications on some events or devicesygmail wrote: 1) How do I get notifications to work? Re: Domoticz app 2.0
Strange, I tried in 3 different ways... (notification on sensor, notification on switch, notification send from the menu of Domoticz...) The strange thing is, I cannot find something in the log about sending the notification with the sensor/switch notification. Any suggestions how to debug this?galadril wrote:That should be enough.. you don't need to enable anything on domoticz, just configure some notifications on some events or devicesygmail wrote: 1) How do I get notifications to work? Hi all,
just did a pull request to be able to enable individually the GCM notification subsystem on domoticz.
Hope it will be accepted.

@nood
Take a look at my blog post on my website http://www.bommer.nl/post/charging-your ... phone-2-0/
it is easy to modify and to run a scene
It is using the Tasker (android) app you can do a lot of stuff with that app.

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
I would like to see a separate checkbox in the active systems (notifications of switches etc.) just for notifications to the app
instead of now that you must activate them all to get a message.

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
I have 1 camera in place in my Domoticz system. In Domoticz is this working fine.
But I would like to see the feed of the Cam on my phone. I see in the App a tab with “Camera’s” but this page is empty (I only see the header with “Camera’s and microfone button and some kind of play button). How do I get this working?

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
Seems that my pull request have been accepted and merged.
In the next beta, If you want to send notifications to the app, you now need to enable Google Cloud Messaging in the notification settings and choose gcm in the notification configuration (on each devices) to send to the app.

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
Hello everyone,
@ultratoto14 correct me if I'm wrong, but if I understand well, GCM (Google ?) is the mean used to send notifications to the App ?
-> would-it not be a bit clearer for everyone to put a name like "GCM (Domoticz App)", so it is clear for everybody that ticking this checkbox is enabling notifications on the App ? (maybe it done like that in english, but I do not see it in French !)
For me the fact of not having every checkboxes checked when you want to set a notification on a device (Temp sensor for example), is still as before. Is this just me or did I missed some parameter ? (I'm running beta 3.6707)
Thanks
jeanclic

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
Hi jeanclic,
gcm is for Google Cloud Messaging.
Even if for the moment, only domoticz-app is using it, we can have further application using it.
So it's must be stated somewhere in the wiki/documentation/first post of this thread that the app is using Google Cloud Messaging (gcm)
My pull request was about the individual selection of GCM as system. I didn't change the behavior of the notification selection (all/nothing)
Regards,
U.

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
My Phone the Samsung S6 Edge automatically updated to the last version today 0.1.371(2383)
Now I can't enable Geofencing anymore. When you enable it the switch goes green but no other options appear. When you go back and enter the geofencing settings again the switch is grey again.
I've also removed the app and reinstalled it. I then configured the app again and connected to my domoticz installation. Going to Geofencing settings the switch behaves exactly the same.
In the change log I saw that different things were changed regarding geofencing.
