I'm struggling to set some parameters of sleeping zwave devices.
For example: I like to deactivate the tamper sensitivity of a Fibaro FGMS001 motion sensor.
Already tried multiple times thru the OpenZwave Control Panel and also thru the domoticz hardware/zwave interface.
Seems like I can only set paramaters of the Fibaro wall plug, not for any battery powered device. And yes, I already waited several times until the wakeup time expires.
Any suggestions?

You could try before applying the value to wake up the node (there is a button on it somewhere), then press the apply
if it does not get it, wake it up again
if it does not get it, wake it up again
Quality outlives Quantity!

Super, thank you!
For the Fibaro FGMS001 motion sensor it's a triple click on the button, device stays about 30 sec awake after that to receive settings.

Thanks for this. In all my enthusiasm I thought the triple press was only to include the device and was getting a little grumpy with the device in sleep mode while trying the change the settings.gizmocuz wrote:You could try before applying the value to wake up the node (there is a button on it somewhere), then press the apply

Re: Set parameters for sleeping Z-Wave devices
I noticed the same issue and already found out that waking up the device by pushing the button indeed solves the problem.
But is there another way to change some parameters without getting a ladder to reach the button at the device attached to the ceiling of my hall?

Yes, wait for the wake-up time...
And don't restart zwave during that time.

Wake-up time is by default set to 21600 seconds (every 6 hours).
Is there a way to see when the last wake-up has been?

Just wait 6 hours, grab a beer and relax
