Cloning the SD-Card

I'm having the domoticz image on a 32 GB SD-Card and was using the win32 Disk Imager to make an image file for later use. The image file was around 32 GB. Is there any way of shrinking this file to fit on another SD-Card smaller than 32 GB?

Yes, I've read that post and I understand that this can be a solution that I probably will follow later. But it doesn't solve the question I was asking, at least to my knowledge, but hopefully you can prove me wrong My question was if can can use my image file on another card with smaller storage capacity, by somehow shrinking the image?

Re-create the image and it will be smaller
