Trying to use Popp 009303 Battery Wall Controller with Domoticz
Hi all,
I need some starting help to get on track with Domoticz.
I have included a Popp 009303 Battery Wall Controller to Domotics but need some help to configure this to work with my qubino in the kitchen.
Both on/off and dim.

Re: Trying to use Popp 009303 Battery Wall Controller with Domoticz
Hi, I have also been struggling with this one.
Got it working today by following this guide https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Popp_Kfob
Skip the first 2 sections and start at "Adding the Popp Kfob to Domoticz" "3. Add the Controller (Node 1, the zwave USB stick) to all groups of the Kfob"
After this i could successfully add buttons to a scene.
Remember to wake up the popp by go to maintenance mode by pressing all for buttons (flashing green light) and the press button 2 (upper right) this will allow the popp to fetch the new settings.

I only got 4 new devices one for each button.
What are your settings on the popp? I have the same as the ones in the link I provided.

same here.
singleclick
doubleclick
longclick
and a fourth similar to a releaseclick.
When I longclick and release it gives me 2 different devices.

Re: Trying to use Popp 009303 Battery Wall Controller with Domoticz
For me devices only show up in Domoticz if I configure buttons to send "scene command".
What I´d love to have is the same learning capabilities that exist for RFX/Tellstick in Domoticz. but that seem not to work for Z-Wave remotes.
Keep in mind that even if you get a device from the Popp remote you cannot interact with is as it´s only capable of sending a state change command, not recieve anything - This mean you cannot interact with the devices that Domotics create for the remote. Also 009303 remotes seem only capable of sending "On" command if configured to send "scene command".

Re: Trying to use Popp 009303 Battery Wall Controller with Domoticz
Took some time to look into this - busy at work
Have updated to latest beta, 6306.
Button configurations I have tested and how they are seen by Domoticz:
"Switch On/Off" - Can control zwave Groups but is not recognized by Domoticz if pressed. However the controlled device state change gets intercepted by Domoticz so it can be used to trigger Domoticz scenes
"Send Scenes" - A device is created by Domoticz when button is pressed on 009303 - This device can be used to trigger Domoticz scenes using Switch|Learn if needed (keep in mind it only send "On" command) - Have noticed that once I change config back to normal On/Off setting created device is still there and I cannot delete it
"Central scene to gateway" - Nothing is detected at all by Domoticz
For me its not how I want it to work as I want to stay independent of Domoticz itself to control zwave devices but still be able to use Domoitcz to trigger state change of other z-wave devices when needed while being able to intercept when a remote button is pressed even if its using basic On/Off configuration. Hence I use zwave groups to allow my zwave remotes to control other zwave devices even if Domoticz is down. Need to stay WifeCompatible.
