Security Panel Timer

Ciao and happy new year to you all!

I've implemented a few security features using the domoticz security panel and start getting an annoyng issue:

When entering the code and set arm away (or arm home) the counter starts correctly... but my scripts that check the security status runs too during the countdown...
the result is that the alarm triggers and siren start..

I just check the panel status if is Armed Home or Armed Away... and it looks to me that even is the cowntdown is running, the value is already set.

is this a bug or by design ? is there a way to override it?
