[suggestion] Possibility to let user choose hardware time polling

Post by Siewert308SW »

Just curious if it would be possible to build in a new feature.
Domoticz is polling or receiving data from hardware devices.

I do understand that it isn't possible to amend the polling time on devices who are sending data.
Like a temperature sensor who is fixed at a static 1 minute broadcast time frame.
But if i'm right then there are hardware devices like the Nest Thermostat which isn't sending but answering on a poll request, right.

So if it could be possible, then i and think more users would like to ask the following.
Could it be possible to implement a custom polling time frame for some hardware devices which are responding to Domoticz his poll request like the Nest Thermostat.
As this devices is now set to 30 seconds but a minute would do fine also.
Same counts for other devices.

thx...
