best dual system rapi domoticz

Hello all,

I am new to RaPi and Domoticz.
There i got the domotica fever and like to integrate it into my home, i was wondering the following.

A: is it possible to run domoticz besides an xbmc install on 1 RaPi B2?
b: If so , is there a setup distru. ( example: Openelec + XBMC - Domoticz) ?
and / or a tutorial how to instaal it ? :S ( shy )

i am from holland so anyone who would like to help or teamup just give me a call,

Without actually testing it, it shouldn't be a problem to run raspbmc and domoticz side-by-side.
Openelec is less likely, since if-I-recall-correctly, it runs from a ramdrive or squash-fs.

Not sure how the raspbmc-updater will affect though, and performance might also be an issue.

seems i have to test around a bit then

hoped there would be other people around with already a setup like that ???

For now it seems i have to flash the 4 gig sd card then and reinstall it with the distri of raspbmc

have you seen the livolo ( or anyone else and tested them with domoticz ) products ??

No issue, that's what I am doing : raspbian + Kodi + domoticz + deluge (torrent server) + SAMBA server
