Motion detection on light, but overidden by switches (Blocky)

Post by stuiow »

Hi all,

I have a motion sensor that is set to set a light swtich on and off for 30sec when motion is detected during night time hours.

The problem i have got currently is this rule i have applied when i turn a switch on (it switches off after 30 secs).

Both these are fibaro and z-wave devices.

Is there a way to ensure that light switch actions are treated as priority over this event i've created? Or am i getting into scripting here?

Cheers

You could just add "and Hallway Light Level = Off"

I'm sorry, that attaches to the topic, but i'd like to expand it a bit.

What if i would like to do the same, but...

- if Sunset to Sunrise
- and lights on the Stairs off
- and lights in the Bathroom off
- and PIR in the Bedroom on
- if then - lets say in 60sec PIR on the Stairs on
- lights on the Stairs on
- if then - lets say in 60sec PIR in the Hallway on
- lights in Bathroom on

And the second one:

- if Sunset to Sunrise
- and lights in Bathroom on
- and lights on the Stairs on
- and if PIR in the Hallway on
- if then - lets say in 300sec PIR on the Stairs on
- if then - lets say in 60sec PIR in Bedroom on
- lights in Bathroom off
- lights on the Stairs off
