Fibaro Motion Sensor

Post by ropske »

Hi,
anyone has this product and can give me some feedback please?
I'm planning to order some from here:

https://www.robbshop.nl/fibaro-z-wave-bewegingsmelder

i read the reviews on this page, some are good, some are bad (like everywhere for every device)
but the last post was you need a fibaro home center to configure it? my personal meaning about this review is that he doesn't has domoticz or knows the power of domoticz :D so i hope i'm right about this?

Hi Ropske,
I have 2, they work well now.
And yes, they CAN be configures from Domoticz.
Simply wake the sensor with 3 clicks, then send the new config while its light is blue.
Zwave - Sigma Z+ stick, Fibaro, Horstmann, Neo Coolcam, EUROtronic
RFlink - IR detectors and temperatures
Wifi - YeeLights, ESP32s, Anoop sockets
Zigbee - lots with zigbee2mqtt and ZbBridge

I'm using 6, no issues.
Only issue is detecting all sensors in one device takes time... give it 24 hours, check when to report lux change, temp change.
Synology NAS, slave PI3, ZWave (Fibaro), Xiaomi zigbee devices, BTLE plant sensor, DzVents, Dashticz on tablet, Logitech Media Server

Isn't this one replaced by a zwave+ version?
I have also 6 of them, works perfectly. I did disable lux and temp because I'm not interested in that.
