OK, thanks. I'll try this evening when back home!

Didn't know it was possible to pair devices only using control panel: Z-Stick documentation clearly states device inclusion must be done key unplugged, through its own button.

I presume control panel = z-wave control panel?

I can confirm that the Neo Coolcam Z-wave Motion Sensor PIR (http://www.szneo.com/en/products/show.php?id=190) is working great and immediately with Domoticz. I use it in combination with AEOTEC Z-Stick.
Design is nice and quality is perfect. Great options for making settings.

The same goes for the Neo Coolcam Z-wave Smart Power Plug.

If you find it hard to read manuals (of Domoticz and related products), maybe this procuct (and a lot of other DIY-products) are not suitable for you.

My motion sensors are working fine indeed, and very fast as well. Only the 'Basic Set Level' "lux" has a default value of 100lux and I'm not able to get it changed... anyone able to change this one?

Using one in my hallway where the lux won't go over 100...

Keep your false opinions for yourself: I already have a bunch of z-wave peripherals from 3 different manufacturers and none caused pairing problems. When I saw IDs at zero, I suspected the inventory side of the firmware was not flashed in factory. And I read the manual of the controller before the one of the applicative SW that use it: That's the usual bottom to top approach when you try to figure out what's wrong.

For the quality of the products, did you open them? I did, just to see if there was anything to connect to the device using a SPI flashing tool for a dump: PCB does not look great and soldering was clearly done by hand, thats not a wave soldering machine job.

If you compare to qubino/fibaro products, that's not the same price but the build quality is there.

You missed your shut-up time here...

I think this will be my first & last direct order from China!
As they say: Buy Chinese = buy two times... But on my side, it's 3 items of 4 that does not work. And maybe tomorrow will be another fail for last one!

Well, there is clearly somebody frustrated here.
For me five out of five are functioning well.
I refuse to believe that the problem is in the products.....

Before answering your question: I would nice if you show us some pictures showing what you mean (comparison of 4 different manufacturers if I read it right).
Could be interesting :ugeek: :ugeek:

NIce ;-) topic.

I thought the header of the subject was "Cheap chinese z-wave products", however I know. Z-Wave does not come cheap. :D
I really like: http://www.szneo.com/en/products/show.php?id=189, but have to wait until my cheap budget allows buying.

5 door/window sensors
8 power plugs
1 flood sensor
1 siren alarm

They are working great so far but the signal doesn't reach that far (with all these sensors together the mesh network looks pretty fine though).

One of the power plugs doesn't seem to work by the way, got it paired but after that it's not working at all and no options to hard reset the plug.
Have to get a new one for that.

I didn't include the siren alarm yet because there is no xml file for it yet and I'm pretty new to domoticz.
Anyone else here also got the siren alarm and created a xml file for it yet?
I have the AS-AB01Z siren as well, and studying on how to create the XML file... just not studying hard enough..
All info needed is here: http://products.z-wavealliance.org/products/1962

Only the Device ID is wrong, that should be
Neo CoolCam Battery Powered Siren/Doorbell: type=0003, id=1088

I am forced by my wife to stay the Christmas holidays with the family in a vacation park, so maybe I will give it a go when there. ;)
I just created the xml file, I'll test it out and submit it to openzwave github

Welcome in the happy Neo buyers club... But JohnBoy will probably tell you that's a stupid user problem ;)
Another concern is ground pin does not look to cross the plug... So on top of reliability concerns, there may be safety ones?

Have you really tried it? You have to push three times quickly. If you hear any clicking noise then it's working. Maybe you should try it with another socket, etc.

It was working and suddenly stopped responding, no light, dead in domoticz, tried other sockets. Nothing

got a way to wakeup and udate pr confg quicker :

take pir with you
open it
Make your change on domoticz zwave config and set config to device (clik OK)
then click one time on PIR Button.
and voila.

On mine Lux value isn't send (it creat lux sensor one time and never update, exclud and include again, and lux sensor never came back).
