Hörmann Bisecur-2 866mhz, anyone able to use it?

Post by Redguy »

We recently had a New garage door installed, which has a Hörmann Electric motor.

It's controlled with rf remotes on the 866Mhz frequency using the BiSecur2 protocol.

The tiny remotes have 2 buttons, of whixh only one is used. This annoys the crap out of me 8-)

I would like to be able to decode the signal and use the 2nd channel to control something else.. as an input for domoticz..

The other way round woukd be nice too, to have domoticz send open/close commands allthough this is easily built using wired inputs on the motorunit.

Any experiences on the Bisecur protocol here????

You cannot decode the data, as it is encrypted.
That is the whole point of this remote.

So no chance to use it.

But you can control the motor just fine, it has a connector on top to which you can connect wires.
With f.i. an ESP module you can send open/close commands and read out some status etc.
