Hello,
When you have a master Pi with a Zwave USB controller attached to it, and you expand it with a slave Pi, is it also possible to add an extra Zwave controller on the slave unit? I only want to use the extra Zwave controller on the slave Pi to extend the Zwave signal.
Kind regards,
Hugo

Is your home that large that the mesh network isn't enough?

well I just want to add the Z-wave controller to the Pi so that it is part of the mesh network, just as the other controller. Is that possible?Egregius wrote:Is your home that large that the mesh network isn't enough?

2 controllers in 1 network?

yes, but not as an active controller, but only as "supporting" the mesh network?Egregius wrote:2 controllers in 1 network?

I don't know what you want to achieve with that. Any powered node is a repeater.

only to have a better zwave mesh network, as I do not have so much active zwave components (a lot of them are on battery), that is the only reason. Is that possible?Egregius wrote:I don't know what you want to achieve with that. Any powered node is a repeater.
