Code: Select all

<CommandClass id="49" name="COMMAND_CLASS_SENSOR_MULTILEVEL" version="6" innif="true">

		  </CommandClass>
But there is still no TFA Device in the list (Disabled service, edited zwcfg, started service)

EDIT: OH WAIT! IT'S THERE! Jesus... Need to check if the temperature is correct now.

EDIT2: Yes it's working! The temperature sensor shows the correct room temperature! I'm feeling really happy now :) Because I can now start coding a climate control :)

Hi! I am experiencing the exact same issue with the Devolo Thermostat. Except I am using a Aeon Labs Gen5 USB Stick.
When you say "Disable service, edited zwcfg, started service", which service do you talk about ?

I tried editing the zwcfg file but it turns out it erases my modifications everytime I reboot the Raspberry Pi. I really want to get this temperature sensor work!

Thank you for your help!

EDIT: It works now! I understood that I have to kill the Domoticz service and then start it after editing the zwcfg file. Awesome!!!

Now I can set a setpoint temperature and retrieve the room temperature, do I have to do something else?

I mean, will the thermostat adjust its position by itself depending on the setpoint I chose or do I need to use a script?

I am very pleased to hear that :)
Nothing to do anymore. Just use the Setpoint to set your temperature. I would recommend to change the "wake up intervall" to 300 seconds or sometehing like that in the winter time.

To check if everything is working, try to set in setpoint in domoticz and then check the temperature on the thermostat itself by pressing the middle button to wake it up

Hello,
Thanks to everyone contributing to this thread.
I am currently thinking about ordering a Dafnoss radiator thermostat but honestly the experiences described here have turned me off.
It seems there are issues getting the device recognized and interfaced with Domoticz.

Is there z-wave controller / software solution that works flawlessly with these Danfoss devices? Something like a plug and go z-wave radiator thermostat system..?

Thanks for this thread. I bought one TRV a couple of weeks ago and with the information here it has been working great.
I have it setup in the kids bedroom with a fibaro temperature sensor.
Coding ain't my thing but managed to get it working reasonably well by using a virtual selector switch to select the temperature which updates a variable. Then used blocky to check if the heating is on and if the room temperature is below the variable value, set the TRV open (28C degrees I think), and if the room temperature is higher, set the TRV to 15C degrees (closed). I think it may need a bit of tweaking as by the time the room has reached the required temperature, the TRV reported in and the radiator switched off, the temperature of the room is a bit higher than I would like. With a bit more time to test I think I will get there.

Now I have purchased 2 more TRV's and a Home Connect Room Thermostat. Hopefully I can get the thermostat working for the WAF factor. :-)

Hi!

Just wondering if someone knows how to update the Devolo TRV's firmware without having to buy the Devolo Home Control solution?
Asking here since people we are focusing on the Devolo TRV.

Thanks!

Hi,
Anybody an idea how to wake these devices up? I have 2 but they always sleep.
Only when i wake them up (by pressing the middle button on the thermostat) can i send a setpoint.
