Yes eventually the default style of the device widgets will also be styled to the new theme.
You can already create your own style based on the default style and make the changes

Maybe you don't want to use them at all on the dashboard but use the widgets to display them?
I see now that galadril already made a nice theme for this viewtopic.php?f=8&t=44563

- The simple on/off button works (that's what I meant), but the selector button has stopped working (it worked before).
What does not work anymore for the selector switch? (the touch/finger? because when using the mouse on a desktop it is working)
I can choose a state in the selector switch (using the laptop’s mouse or by tapping on the tablet), and the state I select appears in the selector switch, but it doesn’t change on the device itself.
Working fine here. Tested with a dummy selector switch (non-protected)

No this is his own theme, that we might include in Domoticz by default.

This could be the new style of Domoticz

Sorry for the "out of subject", but ATM Domoticz evolve realy fast, and on a good way for me, I realy like what you are doing but I have a question.

By curiosity, you are using new dev tools ? An IA ? wich one ?

The spacing under the energy widget (and some others, too) is fine in edit mode, but too large in usage mode. See screenshots:

Using Domoticz 2026.1 in Docker.
I'm probably missing something but I can't find the check 'Use Dynamic Dashboard' in either the user or the global settings.

Are you really using the beta version? Dynamic Dashboard is not available in latest stable version.

Wow very nice changes to the layout editing the dashboards. I do not know if this is in the thread, i did not read all posts, sorry for that in advance if it is in there, but my energy is very very large. Actual energie solar is 2280w but the total of the day is 48000kwh. Am i doing something wrong? I think the 48000kwh is the total from the beginning of my solar instalation. But it is fun to play with all the new options, kudos !

Oh wait i see now, it says: "PV - Opgewekt Totaal: 1403w and today: 49100kwh" looks like it is mixed up, the daily and the total. Well probably a fault i see a spike of 41000kwh at 0:00 at night, so probably something wrong with the data. So no stress, will be ok tomorrow i guess.
Fun for everyone!

Ups - sorry.Cleaned up screenshots too early / without thinking. Restored these deleted images now.

Edit: But maybe it seems to be fixed or at least less big. But I can't deeply test it currently.

Code: Select all

I am not sure that this is a normal behavior of the dynamic dashboard (see attached picture):
If i push the red On/Off button 'Rolluiken Automatisch' the button 'Automatisch' is always in sync (On/Off). If i push 'Automatisch', the status of 'Automatisch' is changing after 7-20 seconds from On to Off or Off to On, but 'Rolluiken automatisch' status is changing immediately. 'Rolluiken automatisch' and 'Automatisch' are the same device.
Running Domoticz 2026.1_17788 default dashboard. Same other dashboard, browsers.
Unfortunately i can't upload, attach a picture her to make it more clear....

Hi,

I am happy and want to thank you the developers for the dynamic dashboard. It is very useful and I think many users have been waiting for something like this to exist in domoticz. On the desktop the display is relatively good but on mobile the widgets do not fit correctly or become too narrow or the container is much wider and there is scrolling to the right. It would be nice to have a 100% responsive design soon, adapted for mobile as well which in my opinion could be included in the mobile domoticz app.

Thank you!

I think when you have a good explanation, I should be able to solve/implement issues

Right now, it is unclear (was also the case with a image)

What widget are you using, what device type are you comparing against, what is the situation, what is the expected situation

If you really have to add images, you can also make a Github issue, or as some users did above, make a temp image on the internet and post the link here.
Every image here in the forum costs money, diskspace. We are still in design fase

On the mobile you should see the mobile view. Are you using the mobile view on your mobile or did you configure this to 'Force Desktop' under settings?
The idea is that you will see the mobile view, and this is looking absolutely fine here. (Colors still need to match the dynamic dashboard)

I checked the Push On/Off buttons, and I think I found your issue.

Please have a look at beta 17798, the Push On/Off buttons should work much better now.
(They stay On/Off, and I added a click effect on them)

Running 17798 now, it is worse now. The pushbuttons are indicating always 'On' now while they are not pushed. For the On/Off switch is there still the same delay in status change when pushed.

Edit: Question: When i look into the code of the widget (Dial), the 'On' means that it is a 'Push On' button? For a 'On/Off' button it is the status for a On/Off switch?

Great, that is exactly how I designed it.

It is a Push ON and OFF button type switch right, you can only perform ON of OFF actions.

When you add a Dummy hardware virtual switch, and change the type to Push ON, you also only see the ON icon.

What you are trying to do should not be done with a Push On/Off button at all. You should use a normal switch.

And when you change that above virtual button to a normal on/off switch type, you will see it correctly changing it's state

Hi,

I using 'Force Desktop' under settings for nice design. I tested on Tablet looks pretty good, Energy widget have some responsive problem there, cut the bottom battery box. Another thing is the grid box from energy widget...no option to deactivate this box like the others.

@pfloryann , yes, that is the issue. You need to use the mobile view for your mobile.
The 'nice design' is something that will be changed soon.

A mobile device is also to small and you want a quick way to see the status or set the settings.
(Hence the need for some users for the Domoticz mobile application)

I do not consider this as a bug or issue now
