Re: NeoCoolcam PIR V2+ disable LED?
I have had dealed with this a couple of months ago: If I understand correctly Neo Coolcam released two different devices with same product type/Id. For now openzwave didn’t support 2 config (version) file for same product, but it is something in pipeline. The current work around is too and both e ...

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
Web-cam support in the Pilot app. Unfortunately this feature is not working anymore for some time. Any idea why not? In the previous version it was working perfectly. ...... Latest Pilot version here: working fine with live streams. Maybe it helps when you check your settings of the server in the ...

Re: Find My iPhone implementation in LUA script
Apple changed something in their ssl. I had to add a option to disable the ssl check to get it working again in my php script. Hi Egregius, Can you give me a clue how to disable the SSL-check in the PHP script? And on me search for a solution I walked into this solution for java: https://community ...

Re: Cheap chinese z-wave products
I don't really call this cheap. I have 15 rooms in my house that potentially need temperature control. To fit one of these in each of these rooms is going to cost me over £300. I don't see why such a sensor needs to contain more than an 8466 chip, a DS18B20 temperature sensor, a 3V coin battery, ...

Re: Cheap chinese z-wave products
Has anyone seen a chinese (cheap) z-wave temperature sensor? Neo doesn't seem to have one on their pages. Thanks - Rowan Neo's NAS-PD02Z is sometimes advertised as having a temperature sensor and its priced as 20.84 a.t.m ( (link) ). I have not tested this device myself though and one the "Official ...

Re: Notification for Dead nodes?
I have been working on this one. Thanks to the people above! But.... I am trying to get through the Domoticz-API and within LUA the information about dead notes. LUA is what I prefer to use: all my logic is in LUA and the logic is part of Domoticz standard backup. My problem is that the call of JSON ...

Re: Cheap chinese z-wave products
Does this mean that you’r not able to change “Ambient Illumination Lux Level Report” parameter 9 from http://www.pepper1.net/zwavedb/device/894 as well? I guess that because the sensor is long time in sleeping modus, you will have to wait (untill the sensor is awake) before your update of values is ...

Re: script for phone ringing instead of notification
I am using https://www.nexmo.com/ you can call a phone number with text to speech. https://docs.nexmo.com/messaging/conversion-api As far as I can oversee you will get calls from nexmo with sender "unknown number". I find this rather unpractical (general behavior of ignoring number unknown and also ...

Re: Cheap chinese z-wave products
Quite new to domoticz... I already have a bunch of z-wave peripherals from 3 different manufacturers and none caused pairing problems..... For the quality of the products, did you open them? I did, just to see if there was anything to connect to the device using a SPI flashing tool for a dump: PCB ...

Quite new to domoticz... .. I think this will be my first & last direct order from China! As they say: Buy Chinese = buy two times... But on my side, it's 3 items of 4 that does not work. And maybe tomorrow will be another fail for last one! .. You missed your shut-up time here... Well, there is ...

Re: Cheap chinese z-wave products
I can confirm that the Neo Coolcam Z-wave Motion Sensor PIR (http://www.szneo.com/en/products/show.php?id=190) is working great and immediately with Domoticz. I use it in combination with AEOTEC Z-Stick. Design is nice and quality is perfect. Great options for making settings. The same goes for the ...

switching on/off surveillance in Domoticz (Foscam cam)
I am already using an doorbell to take a snapshot of my camera with domoticz using LUA and the cgi-bin command for this: 8-) -- get snapshot van camera os.execute('wget "http://<host>:<port>/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=<user>&pwd=<password>" -O /var/tmp/snapshotV.jpg') -- send ...

Re: Pilot: Home Automation Control (iOS app)
Hi! I am a happy Pilot-user. But..... as far as I can oversee Location Services is only functioning when you have mobile internet (3G/4G), when you have wifi only then it is not switching (the switch in Domoticz). It seems that it's only functioning when it is online when you cross a border of the ...
