Trial and error got this going for me. It seemed to need something in the data field. Since my app only needs this on the URL I missed that part. Putting the VARS on the URL works like a charm for me. Of course I wouldn't do that if I were concerned about sensitive data on the wire.

Thanks. I had tried that but it didn't see the COM port that the Driver assigned to it. I changed the USB socket and then restarted the Browser. One of these did the trick and it is now added. So thanks for the suggestion. Now that I see the screen I know something else new. I only thought I was ...
