Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
can you double check your domoticz username/password? weirdly, i can see controlicz is getting a http 503 error, which usually means the Domoticz service is not available - have you done any whitelisting/blacklisting on a firewall? Hi, I double checked my config - Domoticz is up & controlling my ...

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I can do 'telnet A.B.C 10443' and connect
I can browse to https://A.B.C.D:10443 and get into domoticz - though without userid/password... looking at that now....
(I'm using a non-standard port to not clash with other https stuff I may expose)

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Thanks for me setting up. I registered my google email on controlicz, setup port forwarding etc, have a new user, and have run through the google beta test setup. When I go into add devices, I see [test] Home Controlicz. If I click I get prompted for user/pass , to accept, then user/pass. After ...

Re: Controlicz - Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
Thanks for creating this excellent integration! I'm having a few difficulties though * I signed up on the controlicz site & can login. * I'm using default port 443 which is forwarded at my router * I created a user/pass in domoticz * My Hue lights are controllable in domoticz (note no login prompt ...

MQTT setup
I've followed the instructions to setup MQTT via https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/MQTT At this point there's no mqtt server started... is there a continuation of these instructions I should be following? I'm hoping to get domoticz working along with node-red (locally) plus use mqtt to send/receive ...

Temperature & Humidity Sensor compatible with RFXCOM/Domoticz
I ordered the above aliexpress sensor, unfortuinately it is not picked up in the *current* firmware builds -- it looks from https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=11453&p=85423#p85423 as if this is a regression, so I've emailed support I previously had the banggood one above which ...

Re: Energy monitoring - alternatives to OWL?
One question more generally on the OWL though -- unlike my currentcost meter (where the transmitter unit failed), the OWL seems to only report kWh used rather than any instant figure. Whilst kWh is good for costing, an instant reading is very useful when checking out what is turned on/off & doing ...

Re: Energy monitoring - alternatives to OWL?
Ok, a little debugging, and it is in fact the ByronSX that is causing the OWL read to fail, so your problem appears to be the same as mine. It's possible when I tested before I had other, unnecessary protocols enabled too, so there may be further interactions, but crucially if this is addressed at ...

Re: Energy monitoring - alternatives to OWL?
Wow.... I ordered an owl micro+ but also hit an issue. Is the beta download able? Mine was slightly different issue. Possibly between oregon and I think rubiscon (some temp humbly sensors).... Though I also have lightwaveRF devices and homeeasy.... and I'd got to the point of packing up the sensor ...

Re: RFXtrx433e with 1byone driveway motion sensor and receiver
Good and bad news Firstly I was able to create a new "switch" to specifically activate the chime without a PIR trigger. I did this by directly editing the DeviceStatus table in sqllite, and copying one of the PIR sensors with a minor modification to the unit ids. Pressing this did nothing (correctly ...

Re: Energy monitoring - alternatives to OWL?
Originally a question due to seemingly flat batteries (many years old) and no need for another display unit.... However having decided to go on and use cc over USB (already had the cable as I used to capture the data in a pc app years back) it seems the transmitter unit isn't working. Just a short ...

Re: RFXtrx433e with 1byone driveway motion sensor and receiver
I had hoped I could manual add a switch and send whilst the alarm was in learning mode, but this didn't seem to work. I can indeed send a copy of a paired device (so far I've just tried this with rfxmngr) but how do I "unpair" the PIR sensor (I emailed 1byone to ask about unpairing) I want to ...

Re: 1Byone Doorbell (type O00QH-0013)
I then tried rfxmngr & noticed that BOTH IR units were giving SelectPlus unitid 00D7C5 - I can transmit this and the alarm goes off, however I cannot seem to "learn" an alternate code, even 1 digit different.

Re: 1Byone Doorbell (type O00QH-0013)
I have a somewhat similar device - OUKQH-0499 which is their garage alarm, so rather than a bell push it contains two PIR sensors. Domoticz & my rfxtrx433e (latest fw) picked up the pir sensors just fine, however I'm unsure how to add the "alarm". The PIR sensors show up as "selectplus", but I think ...

Energy monitoring - alternatives to OWL?
I currently have a CurrentCost Envi energy meter (flat batteries!). I could hook this up via USB to a raspberry pi running domoticz, but I'm wondering whether to skip this unit (since I want to integrate) and get a new energy clamp monitor (single phase). i see the OWL units are supported by RFXcom ...

Re: Blocky if switch=on ?
yes, that's what I was expecting .. and now that you've shared that I see how to do in the UI. I hadn't noticed that equality (or other) check in logic! I'll try again later...... thanks! In general though if a switch has off/on position is it best modeled as a single on/off switch or as two buttons ...
