I feel like a stupid noob
Okay maybe it's my age (40) Maybe I still didn't read enough through the forum posts Or maybe I'm just a stupid NOOB. But I don't get this to work. At least, I do manage to install Dashticz on my synology and I understand how to copy the CONFIG of one of those fancy examples of yours into my folder ...

Re: Dashticz on Synology
I read the post from last week but it seemed it is not that easy. As I didn't find much more topics about this combination I thought I might be better not to install on the NAS. But if you say everything is running ok I'll give it a try.

Dashticz on Synology
Hi all, I would like to start using Dashticz but I don't want to install it on the same Raspi as where Domoticz is running. I'm just to afraid I would screw things up  So I was thinking to run it on my Synology NAS but I can't find a guide or tutorial or something like that. Is it not a common ...

Re: Domoticz on Raspi or something else
Hi Siewert thx for your reply. It's only a twice a day thing here. Nothing exiting Maybe buying a new Rasp will be a good idea. You have an unpowered hdd? So instead of a usb stick or sdd? So is that faster. I have an unstable z-wave network as some of the switches are in a nearby supply-unit. Some ...

Domoticz on Raspi or something else
Hi all, I'm using Domoticz for a few years at home now. At my work (a restaurant) I used Fibaro HC Lite to control my z-wave, switches etc. As I thought this was a better idea since the HC Lite is a commercial product and I was in the understanding this should work a bit safer and better than ...

Re: Aoke relay problem
Found the problem.
I had to disable x10 in the settings of RFXcom inside Domoticz.
Now when I press the remote button the signal is captured as lighting4 and everything is fine

Aoke relay problem
Hi
Ive got this aoke relay and it's not correct recognised by rfxcom
It sees the remote signal as x10 but sets it as a security thing and not as a switch.
I cannot change it
Someone knows if there is a solution?
Thx

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
Hi all,
Using the premium app for a long time now, but now I think I messed up. Can't login/connect to my pi/domoticz server. Is there a guideline or wiki how to setup this connection settings?
Thx Koen

Re: script for presence detection of a phone
Anyway, What's the working solution? I tried both ip-presence detection and this arp methode but both off them don't work. With arp I get the following error pi@raspberrypi ~/domoticz/scripts $ ./arpdetect.sh 192.168.0.110 635 10 PING 192.168.0.110 (192.168.0.110) 56(84) bytes of data. --- 192.168.0 ...

Re: Hardware
I have them both. So the 2 things from ebay and the rfxcom-e The rfxcom works like a charm and handles more than the separate receiver and sender module. If it's only to switch your rf-plugs and your able to hook those 2 things on your GPIO your good to go. If you want to have it more easy and error ...

Re: Use Rpi as a switch
Maybe, but I read somewhere that the fist version number in this case is important. So 2.*** should work. In the log of the master I get this: 2015-12-31 10:42:14.446 Incoming Domoticz connection from: ::ffff:192.168.0.9 But I think it should say that there is a TCP connection with 192.168.0.9 which ...
