advice for an outside (accurate) temp sensor, 433Mhz
Hi, Currently I am using an Oregon THGR800 sensor with my RFLink. This has been working well, until 2 weeks ago, now sometimes I am having problems getting any readings, after a few hours it would pick up a new reading and loose the signal again. I already changed the battery, the channel en its ...

Re: Checking to see if domoticz is still working on Synology
Perfect, figured it out, there is a sample script folder in the monit folder, which also contains a script for domotics. I still have to figure out how to monitor my mysql database, and probably others. If people are willing to share their monit @ synology, then please, saves me a lot of time ...

Re: RFLink Gateway via Synology with Domoticz
Got my RFLink today, installed it and connected it to my Synology and it worked right out of the box, yes!
No need for any hardware changes.
I have a cheap-ass (clone) arduino mega btw
And I am surprised about the good reception within the house

Re: Checking to see if domoticz is still working on Synology
Thank you for the replies.
Script looks simple, but you prefer monit anyway, good to know.
Can you perhaps share your config file with monitor configurations, the domoticz monit example is also RPI based and not synology based

Checking to see if domoticz is still working on Synology NAS
Hi, I found this easy solution to monitor if Domoticz is still working, if its not, it will start Domoticz https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Monitoring_domoticz#Alternative_script This probably works on a RPI, but the folders on a Synology are different, also there is no synology.sh file (or I cant find ...

Re: RFLink Gateway via Synology with Domoticz
Yes you are right, 2 solutions, 1) capacitor or 2) resistor. btw, just discovered that my cheap-ass Arduino clone doesnt have a RESET_EN on it, hopefully one of the 2 solutions is going to work http://g03.a.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1QGUzIXXXXXbAXVXXq6xXFXXXU/Mega-2560-R3-Mega2560-REV3-ATmega2560-16AU-CH340G ...

Re: RFLink Gateway via Synology with Domoticz
Cant test this yet, still waiting for my mega to arive. https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardMega2560 The Arduino/Genuino Mega 2560 board contains a trace that can be cut to disable the auto-reset. The pads on either side of the trace can be soldered together to re-enable it. It's labeled ...

Re: RFLink Gateway via Synology with Domoticz
Thanks jumbotroll, its clear now. Now I also understand that it would have been easier if there would have been a jumper connection there :x btw will this also work, adding a capacitor instead of breaking the line? http://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/24743/arduino-resetting-while ...

Re: RFLink Gateway via Synology with Domoticz
Is it possible to show some pictures of the button/jumper solution, just to get an idea how you've done it. I am at a crossroad, either investing in RFLink or RFXCOM to be connected to my synology. I don't mind cutting the RESET-EN, but I don't really understand what consequences this has. Will I be ...

Re: RFLink Gateway via Synology with Domoticz
I am also curious about a possible (software) solution. I am planning on ordering my RFLink gateway soon, the Arduino mega is already on its way. My Domoticz is running on my Synology 214+, would be great to be able to use RFLink on it. As problems seem to be in a USB driver? could synology support ...
