Re: changing port on Windows installation
Replying to this because I searched for quite a while and couldn't find any posts that had an answer, and it comes up first in a google search for changing the domoticz port on windows. The setting is found in several places (domoticz.conf, install.sh, nssm) The one which fixed it was nssm. Go to ...

Re: How do I view the code for a switch I added?
Hmm, the ID says 68, but the code is a letter in the first dropdown and a number in the second dropdown.

How do I view the code for a switch I added?
I added a switch a long time ago, and during the manual addition, I selected a code from the dropdown for ARC - house code and unit code.
I can see the switch in domoticz but I'd like to know what house code/unit code I used when I added it. I cannot find this information anywhere.
Can anyone help?

Re: (Windows) Python: Failed dynamic library load, install the latest libpython3.x library
I spent 3 hours trying to figure out how my rfxcom was broken, domoticz wouldn't connect to it and no switches worked, rfxcom manager worked though. Nothing had changed. I could occasionally get it to send a test signal to turn a light on, but it was very unreliable. After getting to the point where ...

Re: (Windows) Python: Failed dynamic library load, install the latest libpython3.x library
I did, but most of it is for linux. After hours and hours I have discovered that python 3.5 does not include the libpython. The plugin says that 3.4 isn't supported and you should use 3.5 but this is clearly wrong. In the end I tried 3.4 and got it to appear briefly, so I added the hardware, and ...

(Windows) Python: Failed dynamic library load, install the latest libpython3.x library
Cannot for the life of me figure out how to install this. All of the guides appear to be for linux not windows. I am trying to get the Broadlink RM2 plugin to work. I have installed Python 3.5.4 I have tried doing `pip install libpython` but I get `Could not find a version that satisfies the ...

Broadlink RM2 Plugin won't install copy plugin error
I run the setup.exe and I get this: "Broadlink RM2 python plugin install for Win" " this need to be run with admin right " " if pycrypto or pycryptodome are installed you need to remove them " " this installation file is only for new install " "" "" "Search python version" Python 3.5.4 " main module ...

Ah, I see, thanks. It looks like this particular device isn't supported on my RFXCom433, only the RFXCom433E

Re: Can't add temperature sensor
Sorry, should have put more info. I'm using an RFXCom Transceiver. Not 100% sure what make this is, as it's an unbranded chinese one. I am hoping it will work as a rubicson as it seems many do, it's 433mhz so fingers crossed. Don't you add temperature sensors in the same way as lights? Maybe that's ...

Can't add temperature sensor
I have a few temperature sensors already that I added ageeeeeeees ago. Today I have a new temperature sensor I want to add. However I can't see any option to add it. I can press add light/switch under 'switches' but in the dropdown there is nothing that looks like 'temperature sensor'. Under ...

Boiler wireless switch broke (Home Easy HE105EU) and I can't find a replacement, help!
So I had a Home Easy HE105EU which has been working for exactly 1 year and 1 month, but now appears to have suddenly broken as I can't get it to turn off. My boiler has no thermostat built in so it's a pain in the arse. I've googled but I can't find any retailers of this, so I am wondering if there ...
