How to edit database
Hi
I am measuring power on an outlet with a Greenwave zwave plug and had a couple of power outages this Tuesday which seems to have corrupted the data. How can I edit this and remove the false values?
The 7 day graph is correct but the Last week graph is obviously wrong

Re: Dead zwave devices
I followed emme's suggestion and wrote the script below. This is to let Domoticz know when my Verisure alarm is activated. I use a variable in the script but might change that to a dummy switch since variable events doesn't seem to work properly. This script sets a variable to indicate the state of ...

Re: Dead zwave devices
Yes, I suppose, but I would like it to be more instant or at least within a few seconds of the device change.

Dead zwave devices
Is there a way to find if a device is dead or alive in a LUA device script and will a device script be triggered if a device goes dead or alive? So can I do something like this in a device script for 'MyDeviceName': if (devicechanged['MyDeviceName'] == 'Dead' ) then ... or if (devicechanged ...

Re: Can Domoticz ask a ESPeasy device of a GPIO state?
Yes it does that, but I'd like a way to ask for it from Domoticz to make sure Domoticz is in sync with the devices.gizmocuz wrote:i think it should be the other way around, the sensor should send its state to domoticz when it is on or off

How is that 'dead' state presented in the GUI? How can I set it to 'dead' from a script?jannl wrote:When the communicaion between a zwave device and the zwave controller gets lost, the devices will be marked 'dead'. This is reported back to Domoticz.

Can Domoticz ask a ESPeasy device of a GPIO state?
I am doing some testing with the ESP8266 module and ESPeasy and it works very well. But I can't find a way to ask for the state of an IO pin. Is there any way of doing that? I'm not sure this is implemented in the ESPeasy protocol and I should probably ask this question on the ESPeasy forum, but I'm ...

Re: true state of a switch or lamp
Yes, zwave devices report their status back to Domoticz. Continuously or when changed or when queried? Reporting back doesn't necessarily mean that Domoticz always shows the true state of the device. The ESPeasy WiFi device I'm testing with does report back when changed, but it can still get out of ...

Re: true state of a switch or lamp
Why should a wifi relay board receive commands other than from domoticz? It could receive a command from the device itself, ie a wall wart with a on/off switch. But I don't think that is an issue, the issue imo, is to be sure the command was received and executed so you can trust the IO devices ...

true state of a switch or lamp
Hi Is it possible for Domoticz to know the true state of an attached IO device? If you have wifi relay modules and wall switches to control lightning that allows for querying of it's state, it should be possible for Domoticz to show its true state. The way I see it, Domoticz assumes that the device ...

Re: Problem with Nexa LMDT-609 motion sensor
Thanks for all your tips DaaNMaGeDDoN! I updated to firmware 248 and Domoticz 2.3530, no change. I removed the batteries in the PIR, and changed them to new fresh ones, no change. I removed the antenna and exchanged it for a 1/4 wave hanging out of the PIR. After changing the antenna it actually ...

Re: Problem with Nexa LMDT-609 motion sensor
Thanks for sharing the scripts, that clarifies a bit. Do you see statements in the log for other devices, like "LUA: Triggered by <somedevice>" and not the "Movement-DownstBathroom"? Yes, I see the Log event for the movement when first turning on the light, but during the time it is counting down ...

Problem with Nexa LMDT-609 motion sensor
I have an Rfx and a Pi2 and are trying to get this sensor to work but it wont re-trigger an on event. When i hock up the rfx to rfxmng I can see the sensor sending On events every time it detects movement but when using it in Domoticz I only get one. I am using the example scripts "Motion detector ...
