Re: Controlicz - Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
@Madgeni Hi, I have a question for clarification: In Domoticz, I have a (virtual) switch of type light/switch, switch, blinds, which controls my blinds. In Domoticz, I have defined Action on On and Action on Off. "On" will bring the blinds down, "Off" will bring the blinds up. I am using German ...

Re: Nefit data/control via Arduino to Domoticz (directly without OpenTherm module or Easy)
@danidata: Sure, but it will take some time, I'm just at the beginning and I'm not sure if it will work. The basic idea is that Arduino will just be an interface to the emsbus without any coding/decoding. This and interfacing to Domoticz will be done on a Raspberry Pi. I'll let you know ... Cheers ...

Re: Nefit data/control via Arduino to Domoticz (directly without OpenTherm module or Easy)
Hi bbqkees, sorry if I gave you grief - my bad  The problem was in a library I included (for connecting an ESP8266 via SPI, which saves a serial port, hopefully aloowing me to use an Arduino pro nano, which has a much smaller footprint than a mega). Problem detected and destroyed :-) Have a ...

Re: Nefit data/control via Arduino to Domoticz (directly without OpenTherm module or Easy)
Hi bbqkees, good for me ;-) that you are still around ... A couple of days ago (winter is approaching) I have picked up again my project Nefit data. I have done some modification of your code - actually it is now a mix of yours and danidatas, with a couple of additions by me. Now I am stuck with ...

Re: Controlicz - Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
@Madgeni, they do not show up as lights (lamp symbol), but as little houses with a wifi symbol inside - don't know, if that stands for switch or something else. Anyway, in Domiticz they are switches (on/off, no percentage) and if I address them (through Alexa / Controlicz), they work fine. But in ...

Re: Controlicz - Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
Hi Madgeni, I am trying to use the rules stuff with Alexa. I do most of my switching via ESPEasy and corresponding virtual devices (configured as switches) in Domoticz. These switches are discovered by Alexa and through Controlicz I can switch them on and off - fine. When I try to use them in rules ...

Re: Controlicz - Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
Routines seem to be still a little buggy (on the Alexa side). As Madgeni mentioned above, all switches are handled as 0 ... 100 %, which (for my taste) is silly. On top of that, I cannot set such a "switch" neither to 0 % (lowest is 1 %) nor to 100 % (highest is 99 %). Same homework for Amazon to do ...

Re: Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
Good morning ! And now to a totally different topic ;-) First of all: everything works pretty well, thank you. And yes, I have left a positive review for Controlicz :-) My question: I have a number of temperature sensors based on DHT22. They show temperature as well as humidity. I can ask for the ...

Re: Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
Any idea what could be wrong ? I have Domoticz (latest stable version) on my Raspberry Pi. Access via https enabled, user and password in Domoticz. Controlicz skill in Alexa enabled, user on Controlicz.com created. Got message that I should allow Controlicz access to my Domiticz installation ...

Re: MySensors - Gateway to Domoticz
Hi ThinkPad, you've made my day ! I thought that putting big fat (220 uF) capacitors across the supply pins of the nRF's would be sufficient, but I was totally wrong. Now with a separate 3.3 V supply in addition to the capacitors did the show. Thanks a bunch - I owe you. Have a wonderful weekend ...

Re: MySensors - Gateway to Domoticz
I would say paste your serial monitor output from the node and a link to the sketch. The default relay sketch RelayActuator.ino handles incomming on/off messages from the controller and it should treat a response to the node request in the same maner. The serial monitor should tell you if Domoticz ...

Re: MySensors - Gateway to Domoticz
Robbert, thank for your help. But my understanding of the whole story is somewhat different. Perhaps one of the implementors of the gateway can chime in ;-) Under another topic in this board I found the following comment: Re: Supported sensors by AWI » Thursday 26 March 2015 14:15 To answer you ...

Re: MySensors - Gateway to Domoticz
Hi, I am not sure if this is the right place for my question - if not, please bear with me. If have set up a MySensors node with two sensors of type S_LIGHT. They are presented to Domoticz and show up in the device list - fine. My idea is to use the sensors as remote on/off switches. When I operate ...

Re: Disk I/O errors in log - failing SD card on Pi?
Hi, perhaps you can save some money. I am running my three Raspis now for a tad over two years, 24hrs/day, 365d/yr. Only one failure of SD card so far. How can you achieve that ? Reduce write cycles on your SD card. All unix variants are notorious for their logging. You can minimise thatby using a ...

Re: MySensors - Gateway to Domoticz
GMorning ;) Could you try the following: - try to create an udev rule (see the persistent devices wiki) maybe that allows you access to the ttyAMA0 (if you route it to ttyUSB20 for example) - for the ttyAMA0 to be available you have to free this port, as its normally used as serial console. (one of ...

Re: MySensors - Gateway to Domoticz
Good morning, I am Josh and quite new to all this. Up to know, I did all my home automatisation with homebrew stuff on my Raspi's, written in Python. Now I found that a combination of MySensors and Domoticz is way better than what I did myself. I have used MySensors USB serial gateway. Works fine. I ...
