Re: Action LSC Smart Connect lights and sensors?

Does anyone have any Action LSC Smart Connect ("Powered by Tuya") light-bulbs (colorchanging, dimming and/or on/off options available), sensors, remotes or smart sirens connected to Domoticz? I've tried searching, but "LSC" is too short and "Action" too generic... Purchased two doorsensors and try ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0

Last Wednesday, the Nexus 7 (2012) that still had an old Domoticz Lite suddenly had an App update for Domoticz Lite (while the other Nexus 7 (2012) was not even compatible with any Domoticz app). So I ran the update and I could also upgrade to premium after that. Took the other Nexus 7 tablet and ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0

What happened with the tablet support for Nexus 7 (2012)? I have the same problem/question. I can see the Lite version , but with the note 'Je apparaat is niet compatibel met deze versie'. I run Android 4.4.4 on this Nexus 7 because Lolipop makes the tablet very slow. However, on my HTC Desire 610 ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0

I got an old Alcatel Pixi 3 phone from a friend that would make a nice control thingie for mounting on the wall in the livingroom. But i get the same message that the app is not compatible with my device. I guess that it could be the low resolution, it is only 320x480. It runs Android 4.4 I also saw ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0

From the play store device compatibility list: https://cloud.githubusercontent.com/assets/14561640/18081457/a5fcb8fe-6e9a-11e6-95de-78b7c6fd39da.png So according to that list, it should work if plain Nexus 7 means the original 2012 version... Unfortunately i can't install it. Too bad that it does ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0

Have been running the lite version for some time and wanted to upgrade to the premium. Unfortunately google play store says: "your device is incompatible with this version" :( So there's no install button. Running an ASUS Google Nexus 7 (2012) tablet with Android 5.1.1 Any idea why this can't run ...

Re: ESP made easy

I also have run the ESP Easy mysensors version today and it was not so difficult. It is nice that the sensor is automatically created in Domoticz now, so you don't have to search for the idx value and put this into ESP Easy. But one little problem, if I reboot the ESP, I also need to disable and ...

Re: Multiple similar sensors to one MySensors node

The word experimenting gives the clue Sometimes you have 1 ESP and a temp-sensor outside and 1 temp-sensor inside Ok I understand now why this could be useful. Is there any news on this? Is it a real issue and how to get around this? I think that no one has done before with the Arduino/NRF versions ...

Re: Receving other 433 signals

Yes, your thinking is correct. That's the reason not to use Kaku (but Zwave for instance) for more critical systems (like garagedoors or may be heating pumps or so) Or use the Wifi ESP8266 where it is possible to do so. Not so easy to hack into as the 433 stuff. If your neighbors also happen to use ...

But why would you connect more than one sensor that reads the same thing?

Re: [help us] How can we keep forums clean

I don't know if it will help much but maybe create a subforum for the ESP8266 Wifi Module?
And the ESP Easy maybe?

And then be more strict on moderating topics. People will learn that they have to look for the right subforum first.
Maybe you need more moderators, one for each subforum

Re: ESP made easy

I used a NodeMCU board with ESP Easy on it, and it took me only 5 minutes to get the firmware loaded. This is a really nice board and it's even so cheap (7 euro's!). Just plug into the USB port of my computer and plug it in a breadboard. And the I2C scanner also helps to check connections. But to ...

Re: MySensors running on ESP8266 module (?)

That link you provided is about ESP Easy and not about MySensors. But I've checked things a bit more, and yes it's possible to run the MySensors library on an ESP module. It is already available for several months and they use it as a gateway. But the good news: It's also possible to use it as a ...

MySensors running on ESP8266 module (?)

I've just read something cool on the esp8266.nu forum: "You can attach sensors directly to the ESP module and have it communicate with the MySensors protocol" http://www.esp8266.nu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=37#p2136 I'm not sure if I understand this correctly, but it looks like you can connect a ...

better to make a code patch, so the domoticz switches will be available in the harmony? maybe simulate a certain bridge ? Could you please explain this in more detail, because I can't understand what you're trying to say. And by 'code patch' you mean 'programming'? Unfortunately that's not a ...

Re: IR Sender/Receiver built, now what?

I would also like to have an IR receiver in the living room so I can use my Harmony with Domoticz. I use to have a "Nodo" (http://www.nodo-domotica.nl) where the unit could receive IR commands and then turn on the KAKU receivers through 433MHz transmitter. Would be nice to be able to do the same ...

Re: Interesting ESP8266 WiFi Module

I have the ESP running with a dallas sensor for a few days now and all goes well.

If you happen to have the DHT22, please checkout the lastest release since there was a bug with that sensor:
