Same question. Combining the floorplan with the features of dashticz would be the ultimate interface imo.

Re: ZWave association + slow response
I'm sure you sorted this by now but for future reference, it's supposed to be the other way around. Your remote dimmer needs to have the id of the dimmer to which the light is connected in its groups 4 + 5.

No, unfortunately not. I've been on the hunt for a second hand Homecenter in order to be able update but haven't found anything within budget so far.Nelissuh wrote:Has anybody tested the 3.5 fimware and has the CAB issue been solved?

Re: Fibaro Dimmer 2 FGD-212 supported? New type!
I've added parameter 38 to the config file at the OpenZwave GitHub. You can track this pull request to check the merge status: https://github.com/OpenZWave/open-zwave/pull/1092/commits/551eae830529f8647f8d1d62dd651af1725866f6 Note that the Domoticz team merges the OpenZwave sources manually on a ...

Re: Android voice control "Ok Google" like "Google Home" for free!
I must say this is working quite well. Thanks for the tip! Only silly issue I'm having is that I end up with loads of chrome browser tabs where I've searched for 'Outside lights'. The interact-back command works fine for getting rid of the window but they're all still there (1 per command) when I ...

Changelog: 3.5 [change] Added parameter 38 - reduction of automatic level control in 2-way connection mode. Changing this parameter allows to impair the Ripple Control impact on output brightness. [fix] Improved dimming with Ripple Control Signaling in 3-way connection mode. [fix] Improved ...

Re: Fibaro Dimmer 2 FGD-212 supported? New type!
Sorry for my vagueness; This was the last reply i got, sent BEFORE november. It was after i got my dimmers back that they themselves updated to 2.4. I gave up hope after that and didn't bother to look for any news on this (and the 2 wire solution was sort of working anyway). But of course i ...

Re: Fibaro Dimmer 2 FGD-212 supported? New type!
That doesn't sound anything like their official statement in November :( We assured you all that we work hard to minimize the effect that you all are struggling with. At the moment, we are testing the solution that reduced the flickering significantly in lab environment. We will perform further ...

Re: Fibaro Dimmer 2 FGD-212 supported? New type!
I was told by Fibaro it isn't possible to update the firmware (at least not through domoticz). As i mentioned before, i did not get better results through a firmware upgrade, but a two-wire installation instead of the recommended 3-wire installation seems to help a lot with ripple-control issues ...

Re: Fibaro Dimmer 2 FGD-212 supported? New type!
Just heard from a Home Center user that the 3.5 firmware itself isn't actually released yet and that it still shows his 3.4 dimmers as up to date. The manual for 3.5 is however available.

Re: Fibaro Dimmer 2 FGD-212 supported? New type!
Has anyone tried upgrading to firmware 3.5 to check whether the Ripple Control effects have improved? Recently they've introduced a new CAB signel at 8 in the evening which means we're now living in a disco at 8, 10, 11 and 11.30 and it's driving the mrs. insane :( I'd upgrade myself but spending a ...

Fibaro FGD-212 Dimmer 2 - Association useless, alternatives?
Hi all, When you associate the second button on a Fibaro dimmer2 to control the light connected to a second dimmer you need to 'wake up' the dimmer first. Meaning that whenever I want to turn on the kitchen light I have to click S2 (to activate the dimmer) and then click it again to actually do what ...

I could, but the dimmers aren't connected to the POE network in any way. Only the Pi is.bbqkees wrote:Can you do a test and turn the POE injectors off for some time?Cubes wrote:Yes, I have Ubiquiti POE access points. Is that relevant somehow?bbqkees wrote:

Re: Fibaro Dimmer 2 FGD-212 supported? New type!
I think there must be a parameter to fix this (u check the whole manual which they include, they describe each parameter in it), u could also try the Bypass2 but i guess it wont make a difference as your load should be suffient (but trying doesnt hurt, buy at a shop and ask in front if they accept ...

Re: Fibaro Dimmer 2 FGD-212 supported? New type!
Cheers Dave. Unfortunately the flickering occurs regardless of lightsource. Currently I'm testing with 3x25W halogen lights to make sure the load is sufficient. The problem isn't LED specific. Dimmer v2 also does not seem to have an impulse length parameter. Currently #20 specifies your type of ...

Re: Fibaro Dimmer 2 FGD-212 supported? New type!
Just bought two of these dimmers. It all works as advertised, but every now and then my lights start to flicker in a rhythmic pattern. The strange thing is that both dimmers flicker in perfect sync. It looks as if the dimmers cycle through some sort of program. I made a call to the webshop where i ...
