Update: the new TRV worked, so I used the method form Solvisit to dump the FW from it and flash it to my other TRV's sucesfully. took me about 20 minutes, and they all work fine now! I have no clue what changed. but the more I read about the SPZB0001 the more I think the issue is in the thermostats firmware.
