Gizmocuz has worked miracles once again
I can confirm this solved the problem but i did not update to the latest ‘polished’ beta update yet.
Glad I could help by providing credentials to test! But credits are due to Gizmocuz!!!
Forgive me for still being in the 'newbie' state. After changing a few things in my setup (trying to a a second SMA inverter) the production daily values of the original one ended up all accumulated in one day as if al production was done in that date. Result is that I see between 20 and 30 ...
I know I am asking quite specific questions, but is there really no one that has something to share even if it were that I am in a dead end here?
Even that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there all, Since I could lay my hands on this TFA Dostmann 30.3238.06 pool temp sensor I was wondering if I could get its measurements in Domoticz. I know I am cutting lots of corners here, but since the sensor seems to communicate with an indoor unit using 868 Mhz, so the idea to use a ...
Hello there you all, It has been a while since I passed here but Domoticz has been running flawlessly for a while now, even after the 2022 version update. Now my question here is how can I 'clean' my installation from the SBFspot things that I do not use anymore for gathering info from my SMA ...
@Firewizard, I guess those L1,L2 and L3 on 0 Watt is normal when the plugin tries to read values that are not there in a single phase inverter. There is another devices that does read the momentaneous power production and that is AC power. This plugin from derenback lists as tested on Sunny Tripower ...
Hello @DJathome, Looks good. If I look to your screenshot, I see DC Power A and DC Power B (so obviously 2 strings). The AC Power matches the RFXmeter. Temperature of 41,5 degrees Celsius makes sense. But why is L1, L2, and L3 all 0 Watt? No Voltage for L2 and L3, so obviously a single phase system ...
Update, it gets better every time; With SBFspot I got 6 new devices in the list, with the ModBus Plugin I got 12. Moreover, when I check 'temperature' it lists 0.0 C using SBFspot. same value in SBFspot's log: SUSyID: 342 - SN: XXXXXXXXXX Device Temperature: 0.0°C With Modbus I get 42,1 C as value ...
Yes, yes, yes,
I ran the commands suggested with the plugin but now:
sudo pip3 install -U pymodbus pymodbusTCP as waltervl suggested and now I see additional 'devices' in the devices list of my Domoticz.
@Firewizard; Point 1 fullfilled, of course this might only be possible to do using the installer login (which I happen to have the credentials for) Point 2 python 3.7.3 of I am not mistaking. Point 3 I will check if I did not a typo there (one of those that does not lead to na error message) Maybe ...
I have tried to use the ModBus plugin but it turns up an error in the log, googled it a bit but I fail to see what is wrong (beginner here ;-) ) 2021-08-05 09:22:26.205 Error: Test ModBus: (SMA) failed to load 'plugin.py', Python Path used was '/home/pi/domoticz/plugins/Domoticz-SMA-Inverter/:/usr ...
