Re: Energy Management Systems (EMS) Integration with Domoticz
Thank you for the valuable insights and links you shared. To clarify my current setup (which is already implemented in Domoticz): EV Charging Station: Capable of adjusting current between 6A and 32A, including the option to switch off. I mode my own arduino board for this. Boiler: Power output c ...

Energy Management Systems (EMS) Integration with Domoticz
Hello Domoticz Community, I'm interested in implementing an Energy Management System (EMS) within my Domoticz setup to optimize energy consumption based on factors like solar PV production and dynamic electricity pricing. I came across EMHASS (Energy Management for Home Assistant), which can ...

Handling Separate sensors for Consumption and Return Tariffs
I have an electricity contract with dynamic pricing and currently use a script to retrieve energy prices from ENTSO-E, applying my supplier's pricing formula and network costs, storing the result in a custom dummy sensor. Given that my contract specifies different rates for consumption and return ( ...

Re: Huawei SUN2000 Inverters
Thank you for your script, maybe I'll install it. I already integrated my Huawei SUN2000 inverter with Domoticz via Nodred. My aim is now to dynamically adjust its output power based on electricity prices. Specifically, during periods of negative prices, I wish to limit the inverter's production to ...

Re: Upgrade of hardware: what's best?
Thanks for your advice. I suspect that an RPI5 is indeed pretty okay for my usage. However I did see the HP EliteDesk mini G3 800 being sold refurbished for 100 to 120 euros, which might also be good. I read that the idle power consumption is about 4W: https://louwrentius.com/the-raspberry-pi-5-is ...

Upgrade of hardware: what's best?
It's black friday time. I've been thinking for some time about upgrading my system to better hardware. In 2017, I started with Domoticz on a Raspberry Pi 3b, with just a few devices. Over the years, this system has grown tremendously. As a result, more and more software is also running on my ...

Re: Domoticz stops responding when MySensors plugin doesn't receive information
The data timeout was set at 1 min. I disabled it and that indeed seems to solve the problem. Domoticz doesn't seem to crash anymore. Thank you! Although I still don't understand why Domoticz crashes on this. Doesn't the timeout ensure that the connection is automatically restored when the MySensor ...

Domoticz stops responding when MySensors plugin doesn't receive information
Hello, I have created a controller for my roller shutters (and some other devices) with relays, controlled by an Arduino. For this I use the library of MySensors. In Domoticz I use the Plugin "MySensors Gateway with MQTT interface". For a yet unknown reason, the LAN connection of the Arduino is ...

Thanks! I will try this.sammyke007 wrote: ↑Saturday 04 June 2022 10:32 I migrated two days ago from OZW to ZwaveJS2MQTT. Just follow this guide:

Didn't need to repair anything.

Re: Problems again with zwave after power outage
I have read in another post on this forum that the ozwcache XML file is not really required, as it is created by Domoticz/OpenZwave. I have therefore removed the file from /domoticz/Config/ again. When I reboot Domoticz I get the following messages in the log: 2022-06-03 16:35:09.822 Status: Zwave ...

Problems again with zwave after power outage
For the second time in 2 years time, all my zwave devices have disappeared after a general power outage. Last time it was after of a general power outage of the electricity network in my street. I then did a hard reset of my AEOTEC zwave gen5 stick and re-included all my zwave devices again. This ...

Re: Zwave devices gone after power cut (Zwave node ID --> device IDx)
I made an image from my SD card, but unfortunately not from my Aeotec Zwave stick.
Now all I can do is repair the damage, but it's not clear to me how the link is made between the Zwave node ID and the Domoticz device IDx

Zwave devices gone after power cut (Zwave node ID --> device IDx)
Hello, I'm new on this forum. I am using Domoticz for 3 years now, without many problems. However, this week I had a power cut due to a problem in the electricity network in the street. After 4 hours the power was back and my Raspberry Pi with Domoticz started up again. However, all my ZWAVE nodes ...
