Hello,
I'm new on this forum. I am using Domoticz for 3 years now, without many problems.
However, this week I had a power cut due to a problem in the electricity network in the street. After 4 hours the power was back and my Raspberry Pi with Domoticz started up again.
However, all my ZWAVE nodes were gone. It seems like my Aeotec zwave stick has reset itself.
I started to add back all my Zwave devices (shutters, dimmers, switches). However, the problem is that the devices are not deleted in the devices list of Domoticz. I have already included all the shutters again in the same order as originally. So my rolling shutters do work again and link to the right device.
However, I wonder if there is a simple way to make the appropriate Zwave devices refer to the correct device in Domoticz (Zwave node ID --> Device IDx)? Can I change the links between the Zwave node ID and the device IDx in Domoticz? Or can I change the order of the Zwave devices in my Aeotec zwave stick?
Or do I have to delete the devices and they are added again when I add the Zwave device to the network?
Thanks a lot for your help!

If you have a good working system, make a backup from your Aeotec ZWave stick. Make also a image from your working SD card.
In case of error this help you as fast as possible to have a working system again.

Re: Zwave devices gone after power cut (Zwave node ID --> device IDx)
I made an image from my SD card, but unfortunately not from my Aeotec Zwave stick.
Now all I can do is repair the damage, but it's not clear to me how the link is made between the Zwave node ID and the Domoticz device IDx

I do not believe that AEOTEC contoller can be erased by a power cut.
I would check first in domoticz/configuration/hardware if the controller device name has not been changed during the reboot.
You can also check the content of the controller. AFAIK it is only possible in windows. Install zensys-tools (for example), plug your stick in a usb port then start zensys-tools. Now you can explore (and also modify) the content of your stick.

Re: Zwave devices gone after power cut (Zwave node ID --> device IDx)
exactly.
some time ago i was so smart to make a backup from my zwave stick(shutdown domoticz, pulled it from my synology and hooked it up to my pc)
the backup process went well but when i reconnected the stick to my synology and started domoticz i got lot's of errors and no zwave devices at all.
whatever i did i could not get it to work.(reboot, disable/enable zwave, nothing worked)
it turned out the database got currupted.
the solution was to stop domoticz, delete de db file, replace it with a file made 1 hour earlier(before i disconnected the zwave stick) and startup domoticz again.
everything working.
so hopefully you did not start the whole inclusion part again
maybe try my solution.
so life saver tip, ALWAYS USE AUTOMATIC BACKUP. this way you can always roll back
