Re: Shelly support by Domoticz
Why MQTT and Node RED? Is MQTT alone not sufficient? And what does Node RED add to MQTT?

Re: Shelly support by Domoticz
Hmm, strange that Shelly is so difficult for Domoticz. It seems to integrate seamlessly into Home Assistant.

Shelly support by Domoticz
I wonder to what extent Shelly is still supported by Domoticz. I found out that Shelly Duo bulbs and Shelly PM minis are not well integrated in Domoticz (see also my post on 18 January 2025 13:50, https://forum.domoticz.com/viewtopic.php?t=43092 ). Can someone tell me what the support for Shelly ...

Shelly Duo bulbs incorrecly added to Domoticz
I have several shelly plugs in Domoticz which function well, however bulbs are not added correctly into Domoticz. The On/Off swichtch does not work, Color switch functions as brightness under Switches and so the possibility of changing the color of the lamp is not available. I consulted Github https ...

Re: MQTT error message during start up of Domoticz
Yeah, I think you are right. I could not find the certificate file, but I emptied the field for "CA filename" in "MQTT Client Gateway with LAN interface" hardware. Everything still seems to work and the error does not appear anymore.

MQTT error message during start up of Domoticz
I have several Shelly switches that communicate with Domoticz via MQTT. When Domoticz is started, I always get the message "Error: MQTT: Failed enabling TLS mode (tls_set(ShellyMQTT), return code: 3)". What could be the cause and how can this problem be solved?

Re: Error message from Davis weather station
Yes, the weather station communicates wirelessly with the weather station console that the Raspberry Pi is connected to. Everything seems to be working fine and I think it would be a good idea to disable these error messages, thanks for the tip.

Error message from Davis weather station
I am trying to reduce the number of error messages from Domoticz. Domoticz regularly (many times per day) sends the message "Error: Davis Weather Station: Invalid bytes received!...". What can be the cause of receiving invalid bytes from the weather station (Davis Ventage Pro, connected by the ...

This works. Thanks a lot, waltervl.waltervl wrote: ↑Wednesday 14 February 2024 16:52 As you don't know Lua you better start with Dzvents.
Look for example to this topic where someone has something similar. https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33414

How to convert ADC voltage to CO2-value
I have a ADC voltage-value from a ShellyUNI which must be converted to a CO2-value (CO2 = 200 * ADC-value). How can this be done?

Which firewall do you mean azriel? That of the router, that of the operating system or a self-installed firewall?
(I have the same problem and I am looking for a solution).

Unable to connect my Harmony Hub to Domoticz
I try to connect my Harmony Hub to Domoticz, however it fails. According to the instruction ( https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Harmony_Hub ) I should enter the username and password of my Harmony account, however, there is no possibility for this in the add hardware window. So, what's going wrong ...

Thanks for your reply. I've been meaning to delve into LUA or dzVents for a long time, but unfortunately it hasn't happened so far.

Can status times of switches be used in Blocky?
The on/off times of switches are being monitored (see picture below). Can these times and status be queried, stored in variables and be used in Blocky? And if so, how?

Blocky script doesn't do what I want
I want to turn on a fan when the CO2 level in a room is above 750 ppm and turn it off when the CO2 level is below 725 ppm. However, at temperatures above 25°C under no circumstances the fan should be switched on when the outside temperature is above the inside temperature. For this I made the ...

Re: Proposal for new device in Domoticz
Ah yes Xztraz, I know this. I have several CO2-meters operational in my house and one of them is a "ESP8266 NodeMCU platform with CP2102 USB chip (Amica)" in combination with the MH-Z19B CO2-sensor. Works very good. By the way, The FIBARO Smart Implant is not functioning as well as I hoped, see ...

Strange behavior in receiving data from FIBARO Smart Implant
I have a FIBARO Smart Implant device attached to a SenseAir tSENSE CO2-meter which sends the 0-10V voltage signal of the CO2-meter to Domoticz. A virtual sensor "VoltageCO2" contains the voltage from the CO2-meter and a dzVents script converts the voltage to the virtual sensor "CO2 Woonkamer". There ...

Re: Strange behavior conversion [Solved]
Yes, that works, waaren, thank you very much! (I am learning LUA and dz.Vents, but with limited time available it will take some time to reach a certain level; until now I find for solutions by googling, but the solution does not always fit the problem exactly).

Re: Proposal for new device in Domoticz
By the way, I found another way to get the CO2-value of the SenseAir CO2-meter in Domoticz, namely via a FIBARO Smart Implant.
